I don't think they're complaining because of the bugs. Games can have bugs, but this one is going the way of Duke Nukem Forever: In development hell for years, loads of money thrown at it, and it's probably not gonna turn out that great...

There's other games out there with peanuts for funding and they've got less bugs and better gameplay overall from day 1. Plus, it doesn't help the head guy on this project is kinda universally hated (he has a reputation for not doing projects, fighting with his team and pissing off strangers online. True or not, it's a factor towards how people treat him). And the updates are pretty slow too, or just not impressive for the thousands it's apparently being funded. Or that bugs aren't fixed despite constant complaints about them. Or that the porn isn't really that interesting...

I mean, take your pick, kid. People shit on this game for more reasons than the bugs, some reasons better than others. Even I can't stand it and I'm normally gung-ho about porn games (and, admittedly, do find the head guy's fursona a little hot). It's just not a great game, bugs or not. :/

its... its not their first game you know. They've done it before. But its not a matter or fixing things, its a matter of actually doing the work they're paid for. It seems like they aren't.

He is the founder, bankroller and Director.
Unless Roy has authority over everything that goes into the game by virtue of being the only coder (unlikely), there's nobody other than Jason who could be leading this shitshow.

Considering Jason's history and the fact that they haven't even updated the site's copyright for this year in 7 months I wouldn't take him at his word there.
Come to think of it considering his recent kiddy diddling shenanigans I wouldn't take his word on anything.

(You can also be a developer while having no say over decisions on the game. For e.x., software devs working for Facebook. They do the grunt work, while higher ups tell them what to implement. In this case, jason is the higher up while our roy boy is the coder. Just saiyan)

That page is outdated, Roy it's no longer working on the project, RearmedDreamer is the current coder according to their update from 18th of June.

RearmedDreamer#7147 has gone above and beyond to demonstrate his passion towards the project, consistently pumping out 5-6 hours of dev logs every single day for the past 4 weeks. He's officially signed on as our programming lead and has adapted to our build incredibly quickly! He has been very easy to work with and has already solved many of the projects major programming hurdles.

Previous lead programmer Roy Artorius#2164 has been released from the project due to being out of sync with our teams mission statement. We wish him well for his future endeavors.

The game got updated, and is now at v0.5.1. It also now has a Patreon login thing where you're stuck with the public version if you can't connect it. Not sure if there's a workaround for that one as of yet (maybe a save file, I don't know).

Genesis, the new palate swaps, and all sexual content barring the new piranha plant enemy is completely patron locked, or bugged because I couldn't get it to trigger, as well. You have to log in when you start the game to get the paywalled content.

Surprisingly, this version isn't as bugged as the others. They fixed the chests and the wasps have their lewd animations back. Also, no more stuck in the middle of the air (for now).

Are you sure about the piranha plants? I just got them working in the demo version.
