Anyone know which build works with witch code? None of the latest codes work for me. Should i try it offline or something?
The three versions I have and their codes are:
0.7.1 = 3961
0.8.2 = 1672 (the one I use the most)
0.9.0 = 9175

Yeah, we all know. It's been shit for a long while. I'm only still keeping an eye bc of people starting to use sprites into mugen and whatnot.
Never thought of that. Maybe there is some hope for the art that went into it at least XD
They literally have the most wicked ahh spritesheets.
Don't get me wrong, animations are fine ingame, but jeez they are chaotic and displaced for absolutely 0 reason.
Basically if you try to animate spritesheets, you move the UV of your plane across the sheet so only 1 single frame is visible.
NORMALLY each sprite is set apart with constant distances and each uses same space, the animations are usually in sequential order either horizontally or vertically. These fuckers not only scattered the sequence randomly across the whole sheet, but also the size of each frame differs - meaning that other frames are visible on the edges.
In the screenshot you can see the X Y coordinates of each frame, it shoudn't look like this, i even had to manually correct the position afterwards so it's near pixel perfect.
As an example where it overlapps, I can't do anything about it without cropping the animation. Except a mask that i need to animate separately which can hide the stuff that pokes through...
But this alone took me a long time to get it to work.
Dare i mention they are just a bunch of RGB values without set palettes?
thats what all their animation sprites look like. Bunch of reds greens and dark blues.
I do have the pallets as PNG files, but the problem is Unity shaders have their own way of using these.
I had to figure out how to apply 2 different pallets without coloring both characters as one...and shit it took me a while to get atleast somewhat decent results. Its not perfect and still requires tweaking.But ffs spending that much time on ONE animation is a pain.
No fucking wonder this game takes ages to develop.

already its a better game than jasons
that was a random ahh scene i set up in blender.... It's not playable, although with some tinkering i think it's possible to make this an actual game lol
The only damn caviat are really the sprite sheets.... they are pure havoc to setup.

For real, i can only do one sex animation without bugs but the following ones will always bug and if i press key A or D to move it kinda cancels and glitches, not to mention that in this sections where we have like two walls and waves of enemies, my character gets bugged inside those walls and the game freezes
