I think BW can be longer but is your call. What can you tell us about Heaven's Door?
BW was always intended to be a relatively short game. Since it's our first project, we knew we'd learn a lot on it, and we have. We didn't want a long game that had wildly different quality at the end compared to at the start. Even at just 5 chapters we're already planning to redo chapter 1 for the Steam release, because the render quality has improved vastly since that initial chapter. I imagine with 10 chapters we might want to redo the entire first half.
As for Heaven's Door: it will take place in a smaller city outside of New Orleans, in the bayou country of Louisiana. Heaven's Door is the name of the strip club that will serve as the primary setting for much of the game. We have 10 love interests planned, and it will be a true harem game, with the MC having the option to have relationships with as many of the women as he likes, or as few as he likes.
Some of the love interests have been previewed on our Discord and in our Patreon, but one that you might be familiar with is Nicole from Bare Witness. She's elevated from side chick to full love interest in Heaven's Door, though this reality's version of her prefers to go by Nikki, and is a much warmer, caring woman than the variant we saw in Bare Witness.
I can't say much else beyond that. Players will learn as the story progresses why the MC is in town, while also navigating the potential love interest storylines and some hostile forces who would really prefer he wasn't there at all.
