It's a set harem of 4, you don't get to choose who is in it. If you go the MASH path, you will just interact with the others normally, but you will have very reduced scenes with them.

No, if you want the 4 they are (Moira, Athena, Sadie, Heidi). There is all sorts of 2 & 3 mixes too. But you don't get to mix & match.
The pdf walkthrough in the OP lists all the possible combinations.

But the problem here is the one-sidedness and not that Heidi is bad...All poly relationships go through Heidi unfortunately.
Although with "a poly relationship" you can't complain about one-sidedness!

Don't know what your problem is, but my problem is that Heidi is bad. Don't really like her. An Athena/Sadie poly would have made me very happy and made a lot of sense, considering Thena's cest fetish.

Haven't encountered more of a mid character than Heidi before. Just imagine the potential with a Athena/Sadie poly relationship. Thena would quite literally melt from just watching MC and Sadie. You know. If you are on the Quadrouple path, the end of chapter 4 is one of, if not the best, example of what a lot of us want out of a x-ouple or "harem" story. Regardless of the rest of the story, premise, etc. that part makes this game worth the play. Although, that being said, the rest of the game I quite liked.
I think any dev who wants to add a poly/harem path or focus to their game should play this one for a really good example on how to make it flow well and not just be a series of pokemon encounters.

Well, I think this page was cached when I wrote this as the whole discussion about Heidi that seemed to start with Bloodguard wasn't on here. Just want to add my two cents that I thoroughly enjoyed Heidi and feel that to make a poly relationship work, there needs to be someone like her in it. All of this is fantasy, of course, but the more effort an author puts into grounding that fantasy in some semblance of realism the better the story works. The support each of the girls gives to each other and the fact that they are bi also is a necessary component as well, I think.
That is the difference between apoly xouple and a harem. Generally a harem doesn't require interaction or even acceptance from the girls and is based on power and not necessarily on romance/love. The "bottom bitch"/ "cuckquean" type role needs to be there so if you don't like how Heidi fills that role, that is a valid critique, but I think that role needs to be filled by someone.

By the way, I prefer Athena as she is in later scenes in the Quintouple path without her makeup. She is very cute without it. And IMNSHO, she would look even better without the magnet magnets as well.

I think the rationale here (other than the devs having to script yet another route), is that the other LIs (including Athena) aren't necessarily comfortable with polyamory without Heidi there to spread the gospel and ease them into it.
I think it really only feels that way when compared to the vast majority of harem games where MC is the main focus by a vast margin. They of course joke that it's Heidi's harem, but really it's closer to both MC's and hers. Mora and Sadie definitely wouldn't originally have joined the quint without MC being there for sure. To me, having the sexual focus spread out a bit more makes it feel more like believable polyamory rather than most harem games.Yep, exactly why I don't like her. In addition to what has been already answered, I've implemented the following fixes:
## 1.1.11s Fixes minor English typos and translation errors.
## 1.1.10s adds Italian translations for the Replay Gallery.
## 1.1.9s corrects a code regression for localization in gallery.rpy
## 1.1.8s adds Italian translations.
## 1.1.7s fixes a path bug that could cause various 'heartbreaker' routes seeing the game incorrectly loop back to a spot earlier in the game post-credits.
## 1.1.6s adds minor fixes for the Simplified Chinese translation in Chapter 5.
## 1.1.5s fixes all known translation issues. Enables localization of Jackson, Shelby and Shitbrick. Replay Gallery now localized.
## Supports localized save names. Adds various pathing fixes.
The current Steam release is 1.1.11s.
Edit to add: As well, the Ren'Py engine was updated from 7.4.x to 7.6.x to ensure people stopped seeing game engine errors. None of the fixes described here are in the Patreon/Itch build.
Storm wrote the poly relationships from first-hand experience.

Hey guys could anyone tell me if there's a resolution on what happens if your romancing Sadie, Athen and Heidi. I just get the Sadie ending everytime, is it every resolved what happened to Athena and Heidi?

There's isn't a polyamorous ending with just those three. There is an ending with those three, but only if Mora is also in the polycule (the MASH ending).
That said, if you're not playing the Steam version you might be hitting a branching bug that's affecting your ending. The last Patreon version has a known bug that can under very specific circumstances on those three paths cause unexpected endings without any breakups or stuff like that.
