We are pleased to announce the release of the first chapter of our new visual novel: Heaven's Door.

Silver, Gold, Platinum, and EP patrons will be able to download the game on January 17th.

Bronze patrons will be able to download the game on January 20th.

Steam release date is to be announced. We'll post when the build has been approved by Steam and we are able to make the date public. We will release the game on Itch.io on the same date.

Chapter 1 will have a public release later in development.

With great visuals and good soundtrack and great story
I liked MC and i found most of LIs beautiful and interesting characters with well written personal stories and unique characteristics.
Personally at first i liked Heidi,
but Later i really loved Sadie and i couldn't choose any other ending without Sadie in it.
So run the Throuple ending (MC/Heide/Sadie) first and later their 2 solo endings.
Finally i also played the Harem ending with Sadie/Heide/Mora/Athena)

I found the Sadie solo ending better than the Heide ending , and Throuple ending was very good too
Basically between those 4 endings i would choose
1)Sadie ending (the most romantic ending in my opinion)

2)Throuple ending (the only reason put this 2nd above harem ending is that i like less people in a relationship)
The only thing i didn't like in the throuple was that in my opinion the first time/night of Sadie should have been like the night of her solo ending ...in my opinion MC should had said that he wanted a 1vs1 night with sadie for her first time
(or sadie said it) basically like what Athena said to Heide, that she wanted her first time with mc to be without Heide
and then in the future they could have another night with threesome with Heide because even on the harem path Sadie first night was only with MC......
moreover Heide was all over Sadie that night lmao she probably kissed Sadie much more times than MC did it was litle annoying to me.
So if Sadie first time was alone with MC it would have been a perfect throuple ending for me.

3)Harem ending aka Heide wet dream.... also its not the usual harem.. its more of poly/open relationship of 5 people than a traditional harem and personally i would have find it better if for example Mora and Sadie remained strictly heterosexual and just shared the MC but that's my personal preference...

4)Heide ending it wasn't bad ending but after i saw the mother of Heide i understand how Heide became like this lmao

On the other hand
Athena was very well created LI although i didn't like her style (too many tattoos and piercings for my taste) but she was great girl overall.
But also the movie night with Athena and Heide pissed me off... i canceled my date with Zenda and they left me watching a movie so they can have fun.. and also left the door open on purpose so i can see them srsly im not a voyeur not i liked to play their games so i choose to go in my room even if i lost points doing so.
But the annoying thing is if
Mora was a cute redhead next girl door LI and she also was dnd player which is plus for me and if there was a Mora/Sadie Throuple ending i would have played it.
Zenda wasnt of my taste so i didnt play her story.

Finaly personally i would have liked to see more throuples and i would love to see some of them not to have lesbian content content and just share the MC for example Mora/Sadie Throuple ending in which they both share MC but stay heterosexual it could have been possible and nice additional ending

On the other hand one more possible Throuple would have been Athena/Sadie/MC ending and i feel that Athena had better chemistry with Saddie and MC than Heide had and she also have a incest fetish lmao so maybe it would have been a better throuple ending..

Finally i cant believe that there wasn't a Saddie/Heide/Athena ending but was a Mora/Heide/Athena ending.

In conclude it was a very enjoyable VN and i highly recommended it

Regarding movie night, if you have enough love points with both Athena and Heidi they invite you to do more than just watch them. The two of them form the other throuple in the game, and while you can't go all the way with Athena that early, movie night is your first threesome with them on that path.

As for other path limitations, obviously developer time limits plays a role. But also, Heidi is essentially the person that really advocates for poly. That's why every poly path has her in it. Athena is at least partially okay with it at the start, but isn't actively seeking it like Heidi is until later. And Heidi plays a major role in both Mora and Sadie eventually joining.

Hi there.
For Linux users, before launching the game, you need to resize the "game/gui/BWLogoMenuWindow2.png" image.
The image being the window logo and measuring 4168x4167, the X11 graphics server doesn't like it at all.
To fix the inevitable crash when launching the game, I resized the image to 1000x1000.
That fixed the problem.
I have attached the resized image if you don't know or don't want to do it yourself.
Sancho1969, maybe this is a fix that you can integrate into your mod?
I will report the bug on the AlterWorld discord.

Just one more day until we release the first chapter of Heaven's Door to our Silver and up patrons! Our beta testers have combed through the build, our composer has sent us the last few songs for the chapter, and Slockie has (mostly) finished coding. It's just a matter of a few finishing touches and it'll be out to you all!
With that in mind, we wanted to give you a quick update on a major change to our Patreon page: you may have noticed already, but we've unpublished the "Tip Jar" tier. This means that no new patrons can join at that level, but those of you already pledged can continue to do so and receive the benefits involved.
Unfortunately, with the way Patreon is set up, most of that $1 was going to them. To make a Tip Jar tier feasible we'd have to up it to $3, and since we already had a $5 tier it made little sense to introduce another tier just a couple of bucks lower.
We apologize if this is frustrating to those of you who wanted to support but can't afford more than a small amount every month, and we understand if some of you might be turned off from pledging because the minimum is $5. We're both fully aware how tight budgets can be, and if this means you can't pledge, or can't pledge for more than a month at a time, that's entirely reasonable. We appreciate you being here regardless.
We are looking at other ways to make our current tiers a better value for all of you, without imposing a huge time sink on Slockie or overpromising on things we might not be able to follow through with. It's a work in progress, but if you have ideas we'd love to hear them.

We had Athena and Heidi doing stuff and then 4 of the girls all doing stuff together (if you go down that path) so I doubt that this game will be much different from that. I'm sure that all or most of that will be optional though.

Please advise. In the early version of the game, during the passage, red-haired Molly was added to the harem. In the final version of the game, I made exactly the same choices, but for some reason she left. Has something changed? What conditions must be met for her to stay?

Part of the reason the setting of Louisiana was chosen was because strippers can't be topless or nude there, legally. Sounds like mostly some bikini bar type dancing and maybe occasional lap dance. Though maybe they won't always follow the topless law.

Personally doesn't really bother me either way if they wanted to depict them topless stripping or whatever, but figured I'd share a few things that had been mentioned in Discord.

Also worth noting that I suspect there's are LIs that aren't strippers.
