Sadly, encouraging them to form a vee polycule was not an option. Though with 11 endings already, I can understand some limitations needed.the hardest part about heidi's solo paths (aka, all of the ones without athena) is forcing her to break up with athena. like, i dont mind them being together, i wish i could tell her they dont have to break up

That's why it's called "Heidi solo path". If you don't want the girls to break up then go for the HA throuple. In the solo paths you aren't pursuing a relationship with Athena, justs with Heidi, so why would the MC be okay with them still being a couple when he's interested in just one of them?the hardest part about heidi's solo paths (aka, all of the ones without athena) is forcing her to break up with athena. like, i dont mind them being together, i wish i could tell her they dont have to break up

That's actually pretty common in poly relationships. It's called a vee polycule, where Heidi would be the "hinge". Particularly in bigger poly relationships it's probably more common for each person in it to only be with 1-2 other people in the polycule rather than everyone be with everyone.
But as I mentioned in my previous post, there's both some development limitations and story reasons why it wasn't an option here.

Ok, who ever edited the patch did a piss poor job.
changed the relationship to Brother/Sister but then forgot the fact that Sadie says things like "Uncle Mike", "Your dad" and "Your mom"
So how exactly is she a sister if she's not related to the Dad or the Mom?

don't use patch it's not by the devs the game doesn't need any patch
I've had this game downloaded for a while, is the steam build any different to 0.5? The one I have is complete, but I've always wondered why it was 0.5.

I dunno why someone wanted to do an incest patch when Sadie is already related to the MC without the patch. I suppose incest lovers can't never get enough.

Most of the differences were cosmetic and coding fixes. Things like steam necessities, music adjustments to prevent game being blocked, code cleanup, etc.
There is supposed to be an extra epilogue for one of the endings, but I don't remember which or even if it's coming soon or after Heaven's Door reaches some particular point.
Anyway, sad you didn't get my Princess Bride / Hitchhiker's Guide paraphrase joke.
Originally, the game versions were updated by a minor point for each chapter. There are five chapters, so the original final was 0.5. Then there was discussion about 1.0 being a more obvious final, and that was the next version defined when some bug fixes went out.
The Steam build is very different. It has an entirely different soundtrack due to the inability to get proper licensing from the performers/distributors. The Steam version has all the bug fixes done since it released on Steam last year. It has an upgraded Ren'Py engine, image- and replay galleries and a bunch of other minor improvements (including additional translation languages). There is also an official Walkthrough DLC for the Steam version that (unfortunately) is just not compatible with the Patreon/Itch versions.
An epilogue to resolve the Sadie Solo path cliffhanger is planned, but work has not commenced on that as of yet.
