Daaamn so many people taking a stab at this. Ziptie creating an extra content mod, rainces is back to get his income back up before disappearing again ( has a habbit of doing that) someones created a dumpster fire remake sorta thing and now this. Gotta say loving your work so far cant wait for official release.

I am still struggling to decide on a hair though. Gotta be something young looking, but not that young looking tho.
I've dropped the soft loli idea I was going for, kinda like what RAinces went for on the latest patch.
Gonna go early Jenny all the way on her.
(I've managed to fix her feet, Zetta's MAT has an awful feet.. and I'm happy)

I'm taking suggestions.
Grab an asset or any young but not that young character whose hair you like and throw it here.

It's a bit hard for me to understand why you devs insist on casting original Jenny aside. Just because she doesn't look that young? Nonsense. She's so beautiful, hot and sophisticated. She's trying to look older so she can do her thing (strip, and all other stuff). I'm pretty sure that was the original idea (nasty greedy little minx). But if you want to go with RAinces new approach (all moral and innocent little girl), then I agree you may need a new model. I love original Jenny. She feels real unlike RAinces new Jenny... (Nobody cares about feet, unless you've something naughty for them in mind...)

The issue that I had to face is not really a matter of taste tho.
Initially, I went with old Jenny.. for reasons.
After releasing the prologue, I had that survey and 95% of all answers that I've got found the Jenny that I used either pretty good or complained only about the hair.
(there's actually a story behind that hair)

Then RAinces came back. And he did it w/ a new Jenny, again.
This project is supposed to continue the original story, and thus I had to deal w/ this newest Jenny model.
I worked my ass off to make a better fitting model for her, yet closely based on RAinces'. I even tried to adjust the stories I had planned for Jenny to better match the whole change he did.

65 renders were made with that new model.
But I wasn't feeling it.

A week later I discovered that many of us BBS fans were in fact displeased w/ Jenn's new model.
So I had to make a choice, follow my guts and keep working on old Jenny, accepting the disparity that players are gonna experience if playing both games - or continue to follow RAinces in every detail, and go through w/ a model that didn't please me much.
I had to approach the matter objectively.

But after reading your thoughts on the matter, and given the fact that so many of us did not enjoy the looks of RAinces' latest Jenny, I've chosen to go back.
Besides, we are yet to see if more content is coming (and if it ain't, there's no real reason why I should compromise to this newest Jenny).. and even if we do get more content, who's to say that RAinces ain't gonna change her yet again?

I needed to decide on what to do, and make sure I was making the right choice, right now, 'cause I'm not gonna have multiple different Jennys spread throughout the game.

On a personal taste, I much agree with you.

That's another thing: why are you trying to go along with RAinces work? His work jumpstarted yours (characters, background, scenery,...) but that's it. You chose a different path. Once you took off, you're on your own. Trying to stay true to his screeplay (script, characters,...) will only bring you pain and dispair (as you said, he won't deliver a consistent game, so why bother...?).

(I know I said I wanted someone to finish his loose ends - a v0.16 - but your way works fine. So keep going...)

I would depict Jenny as a slutty cunning little minx (in a tasteful manner) because that was the feeling I got from her the first time I've played the game. And that would open so many possibilities ( stripper, escort, sugar baby, phone sex biz, kinky sex blackmail...) But that's me. You will have a different take on it. As long as you have fun with it...

I think you're taking too much time trying to match your game with the original when all you gotta do is tell your story. If it feels like a BBS game (pervy Bobby, delayed gratification - grinding, sweet approaches on those hotties,...), it's all good.

You've decided to go with old Jenny. Awesome. But first make up your mind what you want from that character (your character, not RAinces'). You shouldn't be struggling like this by now... Yet you're getting close to the fast lane... Just keep going.

Fuck rainces you do your own thing. Honestly if your gunna remake it remake it dont worry about that prick. Honestly original bbs is dead it will never be completed.
He has a cycle everytime he loses a tonne of support puts out two half assed updates with very little content then vanishes. I supported that jackass for 2 fecking years defended him and believed his lies.
If he continues his trend we will get 1 maybe two piss poor updates per year meaning we will finally get a finished game sometime around about 2060.
Im very excited for your remake did not like the other remake someone did Honestly its trash but this looks promising. You do you and forget about rainces and i agree stick to the original story not what hes rehashed it into honestly so much content removed from that game that its lost all feeling of the original ideal.
Keep up the good work and looking forward to a first release. If its as good as its looking so far ill be straight into supporting.

I've gvien you a few ideas here. One is Delphi hair and other (on the left) is 2021-09. 09 is very user friendly for whatever your scene. Not sure what they would look like on Jenny though.

Well, let me summon you hard BBS fans one more time before vanishing into working my sweet sweaty little-ass off for a couple more months.
So first of all.. a release date.

Unfortunately, having to change characters & all and learning Daz on the run happened to cost me more time than what I have initially expected. So it ain't coming out this year.
And for that, I am sorry.

I'm pretty sure we'll be fully able to ship the game on January 12th, 2022. So I'm setting the date.

The prologue ain't shit.
The truth is.. I don't want to release a game that takes you 15 minutes to see it through and through.
I want it to last long enough for you to immerse.
There's a story that I want to tell, and more important, lots of early content to make and sow.
And since this is my first time ever attempting something of this sort, I'm struggling here and there. But I am boldly proud of what I am achieving.
So... 01/12/2022. You gonna have to wait.

It'll be available for Patreons-only for 48hrs before going public.
On the second friday of January 2022, it'll be here.

Now second and most importantly, we need a title. (cause of course we won't be using BBS 2.0)
And I could use opinions and suggestions on that.
Let's collect a few ideas before making a survey and decide.
I'll leave you with a few options I have. Comment. Suggest.
I'll gather the ones I liked the most and we'll make a poll.
