don't worry about those things, I have solutions planed out for all those issues.
If things become to difficult, the towns army will take care of the monsters (for a fee that I will not describe more here ^^)
About humanoids, some monsters will breed slow, some fast. if needed there will be time skips, this universe does not need to follow the "rules" of other universes how long it takes for a Goblin to grow up, can happen in a week here....
About instincts to protect the mother
Goblins rather have the instinct to breed ^^
Also, even in the real world there are more things then instincts, for example rules and moral of society.
Don't expect fictional goblin societys to have any moral that they teach their goblin children....
Long story short, don't worry about those things here, Goblins will show logical goblin behaviour that they learn from their fathers

Yes, goblin children impregnate their mothers, only they do not have incest, but the natural and only way to procreate and improve its physical (genetic characteristics).

What about that lizard man in the loading screen? Is that actually anywhere yet?
True, there is no save button, the game saves automatically, not the best choice, but still something. the game is in the initial phase, so you don't expect a bug-free game yet. what is there so far is a good start.
If you want to delete the saves, then search for:
C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Beasthunter2\Saved
