This was at June 11. So it could release today or a post would come out saying that he will release it in the next few days. I don't believe it but hopefully he learns from mistakes

I stopped following this game after v2 or v3 only to casually pop my head in to check out the progress once every few months. What the hell is he doing wasting time making a shooting range? Where are the horse previews he promised? lmao.

A full porn game with mostly just animations end up being forgoten quite quickly. A game that not only can make you cum but also be fun to play over and over, will not only survive for longer, as it will probably get more money in the long run.
Problem with things full porn is that after a few faps, you lose interest. Most porn games I keep an eye on are always the ones where they're fun and very interactive with my choices. If I just wanted to empty my balls, there's hentai and porn that would be way more effective than wasting time on half-assed porn games.
So my guess is, Animo's now is at a point in this game where after being able to learn the game engine and do a few things/mechanics work, wants to add content and variety. This can go very good, or very bad. Sadly there's no way to predict, but knowing, very very very very very well (oh fuck I love those animations...) Animo's work all these years, and having tested what is already done in this game/demo so far, I really do believe whatever order or path they choose to go, will probably end up with a very good final product after some time and love (and lots, lots, lots of cum).
Calling it a waste of time is like saying that cooking a meal is a waste of time. Sure sushi is tasty as fuck too, but not everything can be made into sushi and end up good.

Agreed. The interest drives you crazy. Not only the porn part but also the gameplay, the world, the setting. Just sex without context is not that interesting in sex games and in any other games. If I wanted beautiful 3d models and animations i would go to r34

We are still working on the Gallery - there is multiple things we need to make right:
-Gallery should be available from main menu/pause menu
-For the clothes/items - most likely we will keep all items from the last Savegame, same for the body settings (which are already "universal")
Also - do you think we need to add Totem scenes or other scenario sex scenes to the Gallery?

Thank you for the update. Did they confirm this will be the last update to EP1? This is all great and all but EP2 should have priority
You're doing a great job, it's very rare to see a porn game of this quality! The gameplay is satisfying, puzzles, etc. I hope that in the future there will be more futa content, like a futa-succubus or other futa enemies, and that Tara will have more functionality in her futa version!
Ep1 is going to be a bit boring......I am wondering if the umpteenth update is worth a try.

Kinda hard to tell, because on one hand - we have quiet a lot of material leaked or published from EP2. And it looks pretty good and finished (part of it actually was cut from EP1). But Animo keeps working on EP1 updates even when everyone seem to be fine with how it ended up so it's hard to track what exactly he's working on rn. On the other hand - bro is infamous with delays. All in all - jokes aside - don't even think about EP2 earlier than September.

I'm not trying to be sparky here. I legit think this will take a lot longer than we want to entertain.
I think we more or less are talking about the same thing. My estimations are:
Everyone should absolutely relax until September
In the late September we'll get "Hey guys EP2 is almost ready [a couple of screenshots]
mid October - "Sorry for the delay guys, almost there"
And then - mid-November - I legitimately feel we'll get the EP2 in buggy but playable state.

Somewhere in september maybe. Some times I think Animo is an elderly dude, like 50-60 years old. He is adjusting very hard on how we percieve him. When ep1 v5 as the final version was released people wanted new content already, more content, so he choose to get one build with some new features. Now we got V8 already because the same people just want the release and new content, it's an easy way to satisfy them a little. Ep2 is being worked on. Most of the things are done, this summer they will do cutscenes, sex animations and some other things because the main mechanics that he wanted to add like photomode, gallery, fast travel are already there
