Oh my god, he couldn't even finish Act 1 before bailing after YEARS. Insane. Can't speak for art quality going forward but maybe they'll employ someone that actually does their job at a reasonable pace lol.

I wont cry for a new artist as long he's good. Better than another menu overhaul. But the "give us a bit of time"... i guess i can laugh about it since i'm not supporting them, but the joke got old and unfunny.

I don't see the problem people have with a new artist. Consider it like this. If Kom was slow, and this new artist is maintaining the original style of the game, and is dedicated to the art (and isn't brought on as a multitalent), wouldn't this mean that updates will not only become faster but art will improve over time? If Kom likes 3D, let Kom 3D. The game is in new artist hands and it is a positive for both Kom and for the patreons that support.

In nutshell: then basically he earned many dollars just to not finish the Act 1 at least in years... WOW.
(like some people say, the BB became just a mod community in this point (90% of the people into BB are just there for the mods, and they not support the game due lack update), and i think who is supporting Bunfan's patreon are probably naive)

i think the issue is not the Kom letting someone else do the main art, it's more like, Kom taking years to make the game (picking money while slowing more and more the first act), and after a furrycom recently, he decides to quit the main project as the main animator or artist, the same project that boosted his patreon
he could be done this before, hiring new animators and stuff, well, let's hope that he can pay fairly the new animators.

updated the link for new versions
some of changes from cum patch in this new version are some bug fixes and extra goodies for mod makers.
FYI, the way to patch the game was slightly changed due to the fact pck file (which is needed to patch) is bundled inside executable,
don't worry too much (i guess), instructions on "how to patch it" is updated.
oh and someone made guitar hero mode in this game and was included in this cum patch update.
don't ask me or kirby "how" and "why", you can enable this in modifiers under "play style" parameter

having new blood come in and run the scene and want to 'make a good impression' is probably the best bet we have for any reasonable BB progress.
looking forward to who the 'lead' will be in the future.

I don't know. He might not be the main artist anymore but he's still the project lead. Either way I'm pretty sure a lot of people started supporting the game because they liked kom's art to begin with, so unless the new artist can somewhat emulate his art style (or be much better) then I don't see this project staying afloat for too long.

I don't like Komdog in general (great artist, terrible businessman) but him not being the lead artist is kind of an overkill... Could have just made him work on the art and animation while someone else made the music, otherwise what's the point of a dev team?

And now the CUM patch is dead because kirby got depressed over losing source code access and vimm's lair news. Guess we're back to having a broken piece of shit game.
trying to make patches for this version at the moment is difficult right now, since decompiler for godot is not updated for this version's engine.

As said before. I knew this day would, letting an 18-19 year old in charge to fix / modify the game for the dev team, while also treating him like shit. The man was never emotional mature enough to deal with any of this and the people that could help him, refused and let this kid just rot in this cycle. The guy tried multiple times to push fixes into the main game through kom only for kom to ignore and later on remove his access to the source code. This was an issue that was building up for months, and most people ignored it until it was too late.
Just another disappointment to the list.
