oh it's not just furries, many of the popular porn games advertised on this site one way or another have some drama or breakdown, that's one of the reasons are so many abandoned games. Actually that could also be said about alot of 18+ artists and the big reason is they are independent/self controlled and crowd funded. Look at japanese porngame/artist industry they get shit done and the reason is because they work for a company usually (also their culture has a strict work ethic), they don't deliver on time or a very substandard product they can get fired. Alot of these guys started their career out for enjoyment and later monetized it not aware the managerial responsibility they have to take on when they start marketing their products especially if there is a high demand.

I am so glad I am not part of this drama, fucking hell, but I knew something was wrong cause, what... 8 people that work on this game, take forever to put out an actual update, almost like they don't have their priorities straight.

Oh but they do, it's WEG 101, you make half a game and the milk it for as long as you possibly can, THEN you make some half baked updates that boil down to shit like "i changed the font the menu uses :)" so people don't think that you've abandoned the game. They only started showing more animations when more people got tired and started to voice their concerns over the development, gotta give it to Kom for making it moddable, any other game would have crumbled under this amount of waiting time.

It was smart of Kom to put some focus on mods, yes. He didn't realize how deep people would even like to mod the game until the community took it into their own hands. This is why I defend him putting attention onto it while working on the game's programming and tools earlier on. It's what the base around the game wanted, and making the game run well under the hood is actually pretty important.

But he did still prioritize some other things wrong, and should have been focusing on content over those little things. Occasional little bits like updating the shop, changing how the menus look, etc, are fine, but it's not good to make that be the only thing showing up for several months while you've already shown that you can crank out playable levels at a pretty good pace otherwise.

New version just dropped on Steam, but doesn't seem to have any of the new level. In short, another nothing update. Some mod tools, that's about it.

Looking into the files of the new version, all of the data for the new zoe level is there, so somebody could easily port it as a mod as a way to bypass all the patreon bullshit.

Edit:
Yup. Took 5 minutes. Here's the new Zoe level in mod form. It's still not finished but there's a lot there. Seems to stop short on expert though, not sure what that's about.

There's not the animation posted at the page 148 of this thread. And i liked it better than the current fucked from behind one. :(

this new update blows cock, it completely fucked all the mods I downloaded. Way to go kom.
Did you check for if you put your mods where they're supposed to go? It changed with this update, which was mentioned as part of the announcement.

Note: We've moved the mods directory to %appdata%/Godot/app_userdata/Beat Banger/mods If your mods seem to be gone, they're not. You just gotta move them from your old mods folder to the new one! This is for an upcoming Mod cloud syncing feature

2. Zoe's VA has to be replaced.
So I imagine that at the shortest, we get the level when all the animations are finalized. At the longest, we get the level when they've hired someone to come in and be the new voice actor.

It really seems like Kom is trying to make sure that the launch of the new level is solid, since it starts Volume 2. Which, I get. But also, I don't think anyone will be mad if the voice acting gets added in later. He can make a dummy level with placeholder sounds to hold onto for the dev side (but not released) so he can swap in the new recorded sounds once he has them.

damn, I forgot the stupid VA thing , I play with all the voice volume on 0%.
Hope they do release the level without voices first so we dont have to wait EVEN more
