I'm running Firefox but it seems a lot of the videos will not play ? no melody or litzy plus no still shots on some pages of these characters ?

Bro, install the latest version of the Media-Pack: Media-Pack v0.24

In the menu on the left, in "Media-Pack", you can check if it is installed correctly ^^

3) Open the left menu that says "Quest".
4) Click on any repeatable quest
5) Click on the button that says "Repeat quest".

I mean, I just installed .25 and put my old media pack in it and things are working so far... haven't
seen any missing images or videos.

Yes, bro, it's necessary, as it will get to a point where some videos/images are missing. But to avoid re-downloading the entire media pack, you can just install the update patch ^^
