What does this game run on? Sugarcube/Twine is just a html file and as long as you don't write it like an idiot and use a few checking if/elif loops to add in any variables you might be missing, you could use saves that are years outta date
Dang, played through and was almost to the end of current content and got soft locked by a bug. Couldn’t back up, couldn’t find an option to force me to go somewhere else, aaaaand forgot to save along the way…. REALLY could use an escape button that just brings you back home.

Unfortunately, I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to that.
Or when it comes to adding 2 entirely new characters with ton of content between them that the player could only see the content for if they go back to play the game from the start or else lose out on important information.

People in reviews praise how straight forward this game is for a sandbox ... and I guess that's true, but for such a pretty straight forward game, it's sure buggy. In fact, I don't think I played a game as buggy as this one in a long time.

when i got the part where i go to mall with leo to check all the shops, i get a line to check the door, and cant get out of the mall i get stuck there, no way out.

It's been buggy for a long time. The developer fixes most of them but there are bugs I had issues with earlier this year that are still in the game.
