I believe the toys are now tied to the masturbation events. You need to trigger the masturbation scene that will unlock the specific toys.

Choosing to identify as lesbian would not remove Leo/Ella from the options possible. Trans women are women.

Yea, it feels incredibly grindy and gated for something that essentially has minimal/no impact. Theres no "sex checks" in the game really, you dont use it to boost other stats (not that you even really can any more, its gated behind having those stats).
It doesent even take up "in game time" so its not even a resource competitor, so im not sure what the point of it is (beyond the obvious, but its very limited for that).

There are actually several sex checks. When asked to dance for the cheerleaders or the spring break, you can use sex or athletics. But it certainly doesn't see *much* use.

Now that I've played more, I finally unlocked chokers.

You need to masturbate until eventually you get an event to masturbate in the shower, then you will get the option when you masturbate to use the shower head.

When masturbating, you can actually use all three options: Playing with yourself, watching porn, and using toys. Just don't use the go over the edge option and you'll usually keep your arousal for the next day. Each dildo has multiple "events" for oral/penetration/anal. Most of them are placeholders now, but you can click each event until the red bell icon goes away to keep building the sex skill.
