even if one is not here for a quick fap, and imo plot is definitely the most important element, grind is never a good idea. More grind is always a terrible idea

Have you been trying to cheat?

If not, try to see if it happens with all your saves or just one of them. Try to start a new game and then save and load to see if it's gonna happen again.
