Well it's been a couple of weeks, so for an update:
I've been focusing on getting all of the content available in 0.8 into the project while polishing it all up. I've done that, mostly. The scenes are there, and you can view them all in the scene gallery even if the character routes aren't complete. So "0.8 without the bugs" is technically done.
But I wouldn't be sharing it if I hadn't given an arbitrary deadline of "a couple of weeks". There's a lot more I want to do. Bare minimum I'd like to fully complete the plot lines for Captain Marvel, Black Widow and Yelena, and I'm trying to make the affection / submission options meaningful, so it's taking a while. I've significantly slowed down the progression so each character takes longer and I am trying to avoid falling into the SU trap of each one feeling similar/having the same steps to get through.

I've changed quite a few things about the overall story and I am also working on the pre-0.8 characters. I would like what I share to be an enjoyable and substantial release in its own right rather than just a non-buggy scene gallery for 0.8. I said a couple of weeks as I'm quite busy for the next few and knew I wouldn't have much time for it, but now I'm focused I'm really getting into it and I'd rather share something I'm proud of.
So I'm not going to set another arbitrary deadline. I'm going to chip away at it whenever I can until I feel its in a great place. If I feel that isn't working then I'll pick a deadline to give myself a kick.

I may post updates if people are interested: do feel free to make suggestions/requests, I'm of course curious if there are things people generally want changed/unchanged etc. For example I dropped the JRPG style combat missions from 0.8 (I have strong opinions on the JRPG combat so many renpy games try to implement) and expanded the covert mission deployments to cover all missions instead. This was a personal preference as I liked the latter more. But if everyone loved that and will be disappointed with it gone, I'll bear that in mind.
Outside that at some point I'll hopefully post a new thread with a first pass release uploaded.

I really appreciate that too, that's incredibly generous - as of now I do not have a Patreon, and even though I am putting considerable time and work into this project, neither the art (which is what everyone is really here for) nor core idea are mine, so I'm not comfortable taking donations for it. The way people most want this project continued (new art) is not something I can do unfortunately.
If I end up working on it for longer than I expect/somehow the game does continue with new characters, I may reconsider.

I hadn't considered a discord server. Didn't occur to me there would be that much interest in the logs/process/whatever.

Amazing work! A shame that you can't create more art and truly keep the game going without the original creator. I don't know if people cared to open the game files, but there's a lot of base assets of new heroines (like rogue/Alexandra daddario, jean grey and etc..) for future updates.

Maybe I'm missing something but JG and Mystique are not in the game files in so far I could find.

They're in 0.8, but only character portraits. No scenes/any other art.
