I've a question to the dedicated fans of "Mr. Bals". Has he ever said anything about other DUNE projects apart from this game? Considering that the next Villenueve movie is going to be based on the second book (and knowing David is probably going to make something then) isn't it better for him to do a new release than to update this one again?

he has mentioned interest in making another dune game at some point, yes. but not right now. he is focusing on horror in hongdae and plans on putting a "behind the dune" mini-game there.
maybe someday in the future he might come back to dune but he's planning on finishing his current projects.

He has indeed mentioned that he'd prefer to make another Dune game rather than just updating this one forever. BUT, as long as Horror in Hondae isn't finished, he won't start another big project. So until then, little updates for BtD every once in a while is all we can hope for.

he has said that he disliked using flash several years ago but has continued to making releases for 2-3 years since he made that statement. So not likely to see that change and has even released 2 games in about that time

But HiH is in unity, why would he choose to make the next project in flash. I believe If he makes a new DUNE based game it won't be flash

No he did not say he will go back to flash, instead he wants to make the next dune game (whenever that comes out) in unity. So basically this whole experience of HiH was basically a long way to get experience with the unity engine.
