I have seen a lot of impressive A.I stuff over the last year, as I'm sure many of you have as well, but this is yet another mindfuck. It is scary how accurate it is in the imitation of Balsa's artstyle. A couple of these are so on point that they might've as well had been made by him. Unreal man.

Yes, a handful are so close that it really takes a pedantic eye to find differences. Still, AI isn't ready to replace human artists just yet. AI can do little more than pinups and a few other simple poses. As soon as you want two or more characters interacting with each other in specific ways, AI fails consistently and it takes so much editing and redoing, that you might as well not bother.
Fellas, posting Fan Art is one thing, but posting AI generated content in the niche style of this specific artist is in poor taste.

All the AI-generated fanart is taken from the artist's own discord. He knows about it and he approves of it. He's very interested in AI himself dabbles in it too.

He makes a lot of it himself. If you check out the horror in Hongdae you’ll find some of it posted there. It is pretty controversial though as it’s mainly 3D realism oriented lolis, which a lot of us can’t really work with. Anyways the point is that not only does he allow the imitation stuff in his disc, as mentioned by another user, but he also makes his own 3D generated stuff for the people that want it. So he’s fine with this fan art, to say the least.
It’s a bit weird though, besides the controversial nature of what he generates in the sense that the images (or at least the ones I saw posted in the thread) are very far off from his classic style.
Not only are they 3D and realism focused, but it’s also not the huge jugs which is a Balsamique staple. I don’t really know what’s up with it since I don’t support him financially or hang is his discord. I’ve just seen ppl discuss it in the HoH thread.
