Short, simple, almost has it all game. Even an epilogue that could be developed more especially on the Jessica path or elsewhere. But very valid effort, easily the top 5 in this site in my opinion. Best parts are the comments of the characters, some have really funny or insight stuff. More games should have companions following you and giving unique comments on the situation
It is a shame Chani is less than ideal, not enough scenes or interaction with her.
Here is her 1992 version, and you can see how beautiful she looks,she emits an aura of beauty just by looking at her eyes(ironically, Jessica,the Guild Navigator has that trait in Behind The Dune and also the Reverend Mother). And the music "Chani's eyes" sadly doesn't play when you interact her in the Behind the dune to further increase the impact of her character.
The legendary era of quality games of 90s and 2000s
I may not know about Dune but quickly looking at the games and this one, at a glance, i can surely say Chani got the least attention. Not out of developer's decisions, it is just my observation. But maybe the actual Chani in the games, movie or books(if it has) doesn't get that much attention so maybe it is intentional?
Also in that 1992 game, Chani is voiced by Karen Strassman(one who does Aigis in Persona 3), making her character even more loveable. i didn't know that far she had games under belt. Amazing voice actress, legendary even.
