I'm not nearly as much of a Star Trek fan as a friend of mine is, nor have I watched all the episodes, so I don't even know about Kira Nerys, but I do know about Tasha who was also great. T'Pol... she is amazing, I agree. So I would leave some things more as a matter of taste.
