Yea I agree. Doesn't seem to make much sense that everything lead up to that is going to be packed in one episode. Makes even less sense if that scene happens regardless of whether you're on Jill's path. If Jill's just a friend then she's basically going with you to the hospital for your former girlfriend's mom who she has no real connection to, can't do much to help at this point (even with money, a scene like "the operation is going to be expensive" isn't going to happen at the initial outset), barely *hangs out with the MC outside of her route, barely interacts with the rest of the main cast, and at that point has probably only exchanged introductions with Zoey. What I'm saying is "Please, don't be about Zoey. I like the character but I just don't care." Lol.

Also, I don't think she's that selfish for someone her age. What would Zoey do? Put her life on hold just to sit around at home and comfort her mom? For how long? It's not like her mom's struggling financially or looks like she needs any kind of help. She also has her husband? boyfriend?(can't be bothered to remember). She has her own life to live and her grandma dying is shown to be the catalyst for her short story.

"Thinning" in this case would indicate a negative connotation meaning she looks "weaker" or "unhealthy". Usually shock or concern will accompany it. "Slimmer" would have a more healthy connotation. Still, it's not like it's a clear indication of anything dire in someone's eyes but is often used as cliche foreshadowing, especially if it's only "a bit thinner"which could mean anything or nothing at all. In fact, it seems more like it shows that Zoey cares about her mom and shows concern over well-being. Otherwise, she wouldn't have even noticed.
a general characteristic of AVNs is to have characters with very little empathy

if we don't like the expression selfish we can use "self-centered," which is just a more polite way of saying the same thing, though.

I honestly have no other way of judging the request she makes to MC to follow her and the fact that even once she gives up surfing (at the first lesson in the water) she still stays in San Diego as long as her beloved grandmother's money allows her to do so

Yeah, Zoey does come across a bit selfish, especially considering that they (her and the MC) grew up together and probably did all their firsts together. She upped sticks pretty quick when she lost her nan, but perhaps that was her way of coping? When she heads home, though, it does appear that she misses the MC.

I always pictured her re-entering the story in a way that has her being dropped off by MCs Dad and she finds her way to the library where you've got MC revising with Josy and Maya, Jill chatting to Bella, Sage in the corner and Quinn lurking between the shelves. It ends with MC and Zoey embracing each other while the others look on in confusion...

I'm inclined towards the idea that the hospital visit may be related to the pregnancy test and it may be more of Dr's surgery or clinic.

Eh, I guess. It's hard to remember the details sometimes for the Interlude since I didn't really care about it. Point is, I don't dislike the character but I just don't want ep 9 to be all about her. Otherwise, it's just like an extension of the Interlude.

:D yeah I know, I did see that. Don't know if that's the first time they meet or a later scene though.
Definitely looks like the first time. Hard to imagine that they'd see other then she'd just be wandering around campus until he's all alone ...
My money's on: Dinner with the Burkes is going to end abruptly. MC goes back to campus. Then they meet.
She'll probably be there because MC's dad told her he was there and she''ll be all like "Ok, bet I'm gonna head over right now". Which is also why he decided to call instead of just shooting a quick text that would've just been "Hey son, she's back yo"

Or the Dad could have called him back home on some pretext and that's somewhere near his home?
Possibly ... but the background makes me think it's still on campus. They could be in a park but the building in the background tells me it's not a park. It'd be weird to have a building right there, residential or not. The benches however can also be seen multiple times on campus. Where else would a place have benches like that but not be a park?
Then again, who knows? Too little context in just one picture. I can't even remember what the MC was wearing at end of ep 8 anymore.
Also, is he wearing a really long shirt or just a short jacket?

At that point you are past soap opera territory, add overedited cuts and dramatic music and you have Indian tv shows

Not even DPC would pull something like that :KEK:

Meeting with Jade only occurs if you got rejected by Maya and Josy (or you reject them yourself).
If you didn't meet Jade Derek will fuck the teacher. You will never forget it, prepare

They indeed forgot to egg the preps but it's ok.
Man, that was such a mess for me. First of all, I was on the DIK spectrum (I thought that was the point of the game lol) so I got rejected by Maja and Josy, which was my #1 goal. I retraced and replayed like half the game to be able to get them. Then comes this Jade-mess and even though it wasn't a priority they had certainly built you up for it and maaan it just feels frustrating to miss out on it now.

Anyway, thanks for the repl.y

That's why you almost have to do multiple playthroughs (DIK/Chick/Neutral, and various pivotal decision points along the way).

Damn she's tall. This is a render error, or Zoey is actually at least 6 feet tall.
Its an optical illusion because of the skateboard, if you pay closer attention you will notice she is not actually standing, but sitting on her thick, juicy ass. Thats why she appears taller :Kappa:

Anything is viable, especially in a porn game.

But Zoey has just been introduced, it seems to me the right move to make us love her even more to enter the story head-on by immediately involving us in a thousand-decibel drama.

Then not enough Zoey we throw in Jill, who is now a side girl for 4 out of 5 players.

just the scene everyone has been waiting for....
Zoey will make me love my Ctrl key.

Absolutely, and it's really rewarding cause if one plays the paths in a 'pure' way, like Massive Chick, Massive DIK and Neutral, they all play very differently, my first playthrough was as a Massive Chick, and while I played as a Massive DIK on the 2nd one, was shocked how different everything unfolded. Even as a Neutral, on my 3rd PT, you can pretty much the best of 2 worlds, but not totally, I could fight and have fun with Lily/Nicole on the side while still being able to white knight a bit on the other side.

Also, since Zoey came back as a subject (and I can't wait to see how she's implemented, she pretty much saved his life, after all), love the fact she also has a DIK/Chick affinity gauge, and I guess depending on the choices you made in the Interlude, it will add a different flavor whenever she'll meet the MC.

Really can't wait to see how all those choices unfold in Ep9.

Man, it's crazy how all the good games are in development right now and will release their next updates within the next two months. It's like they're all syncing up or something.
I think everyone here has heard of menstrual synchrony. Considering how much the developers sometimes like to bitch about something, maybe the same mechanism works here?
