Nonetheless, the question remains valid: who could be the ultimate villain in charge for that prostitution free tuition drug ring?

DPC loves to subvert expectations of the players and fill his story with red herrings. I believe neither Stephen nor Vinny are primary antagonists. If projecting DPC's stunts from Acting lessons onto BADIK, the main foe should be a character we directly interact with and highly likely a broad.

She is the new Areith, or a drug addict. She have sex with people for money. We saw her in devil threesome with the nerds and then we saw her buying from riona. I think Vixens arc is gonna be about Mc getting into drugs (including coke), also Quinn probably didn't sold the coke yet.

I think this was simply because technically Chad has severely beat up another student, which is a criminal offense so expelling him would be the least thing to do.

Alternatively, i suppose we could have a theory that Jade had tried to hit on Chad herself at some point, got turned down, and that's why she was both sore about it and suspecting him to be gay. :v

Magnar might be an associate but not the mastermind who certainly belongs in or is somehow interrelated with the B&R senior staff.

As for this chick, she looks even more suspicious than Nick. Damn, how can we speculate about who this vixen is, when we do not exactly know what is going on in the story now.

Normally I'd agree with you, but normal rules just won't cut it when you ask two girls to form a throuple with you. At that point I think you either take the combined relationship seriously or you ask for a threesome and expect nothing further. Obviously the M&J path isn't interested in a quick threesome so I was rather surprised when I realized DPC expected the MC to be throupling "casually."

I'm referring to the doubles tennis. The MC will work with Bella to help save Jill from Tybalt, then go right back to pressuring Bella to give up the goods (ugh), then decide to climb Jill's balcony that night to declare his undying love. I'm sorry, but even Quinn's denial couldn't repel a hint of that magnitude. If the implications of that day didn't prompt the MC to introspect, there's no way he'd be phased by Bella giving Jill a hug after her stage debut.

Fair enough, and had DPC done a more consistent job of showing the LIs suffering under the lack of decision I could go along with it. But as is I don't think that was well conveyed. The LIs had too many scenes where they didn't seem concerned by the competition, and some of the side-girls (most obviously Nicole) seemed a little to into the MC to believe they'd shrug it off if he ended things.

I don't think it was a case of the mc could see he was fucking them up already and needed to do something. It was more of a case that he realised if he took it further with all of them it would be fucked. He was starting to get serious with all of them. That's just asking to get castrated in the long run.

Sorry, not buying this for a second. The MC has been dealing with Jade for a full season after he rejected her - including when she caught him at the ANO party. She obviously has no love for him, but she also obviously doesn't have any axe to grind. The idea that the MC was afraid of Jade is patently ridiculous, an after-the-fact explanation attempting to justify DPC's unforgivable laziness.

When the mc stopped Jade from giving him the footjob she threatened him:

Jade: "You should spend the time left in this class reading and be {b}quiet{/b}..."​

Jade: "That way I might not fail you..."​

In other words: "You tell anyone about this and you're fucked". Of course she had way more to lose than him.

When she sees him at the prep party her reaction is:

Jade: "Hmph..."​

I believe the next time she spoke to him directly was when she gave him a passing grade, and she was extremely curt:

Jade: "Fuckface. Pass. Next."​

So sure, he kept his head down and put that shit behind him, but then to find out it's his good friend/girlfriend's mom! I mean, put yourself in his shoes. You're off to meet your (girl)friend's parents, only to find out the mom is a teacher who sexually assaulted you... Sure it's a porn game, we want teachers (at least the female ones) to sexually assault the mc, but if we're trying to find reasons for behaviour, what Jade did was really fucked up.

And once again, we've had an entire fucking year to let all that sink in. The mc walked into it and suddenly when he realised it was Jade, he panicked. He went there to help Maya out and suddenly it looks like it's gonna be very awkward.

That's an OK reaction in my book.

But what comes next matters more.

We know the mc locks himself in the bathroom, and its independent of all of his relationships: Worst case he's been fucking both and has recently dumped one, if not both of them. Even this situation is salvageable. Jade's not about to let on that she's been doing anything with the mc, so the only problem is how will Jade/Stephen react if Sage lets on that the mc is her boyfriend. Jade might not be too pleased, but she isn't gonna do anything right then and there.

And the best case is the mc hasn't been fooling around with anyone. This just means Jade sexually assaulted him in class but it's all water under the bridge. Jade's not gonna say or do anything about it. And no one else knows about it. So other than the mc panicking, the situation shouldn't escalate.

So while the mc does panic, and I do think it's an OK reaction under any of the potential circumstances, the drama that comes next will make or break this scene for me. Of course with the mc hiding in the bathroom shitting himself, he's already making the situation worse. But this is the same guy who lost his shit when he found out Maya and Josy were a couple. So no big surprise there.

We don't know exactly why he does this, because Burke's role in this story is not fully understood. Is he just Harvey Wahnstein, or is his dark deeds much more serious? Unknown.
I can only say that blackmail is a good way to keep a person under control.

If you believe Burke is behind Quinn's restaurant business (which makes sense as he provides the tuition that's offered to the girls then Chad's not using his business (for obvious reasons) but other jocks are. Having a restaurant customer as a president of the fraternity would be more helpful for his business than having someone who would have no reason to help keep the business a secret. It also explains why the vice-president (now acting president) Dawe was also being targeted by the blackmail, he struggles to get it up so probably isn't using the restaurant either.

There is a good logic in your reasoning. I suspect that Jade is involved in this enterprise either and she might be the mastermind like Leah was the main fiend in Acting Lessons. Currently all arrows point to Stephen, but it's too obvious, thus he is unlikely to be the chief - DPC always strives to confuse us and subvert our expectations.

If you have any other candidates for the mastermind post, I'd gladly hear your side.

Basically blackmail in this form is used to force someone into doing certain things. This blackmail sequence looks like a pure intimidation, like if the blackmailer wants the jocks to stop doing specific activities.

My reading of that is, it's both girls (especially Maya) who don't want to immediately start a serious relationship with some boy they've really known for very short time and who potentially fucked each of them behind the other's back. They like him enough to want to give this a try, but whatever attachment there is at this point, it's on very surface level compared to the pairing they have. The MC is being put on probation so to speak, and it's his behavior while he's said to have a free reign, that's ultimately going to decide whether this evolves into something more.

That seems to conflate taking things slowly with keeping things casual. The former makes a lot of sense (or would have if they didn't immediately start having sex with him). The latter seems like an obvious recipe for disaster.

I bet on Jade. Alfred the Fallen made a guess about Magnar. Somebody definitely spies on Tremolo - remember that creepy night scene with flickering lampposts in Ep6.

Jade wanted to expel Chad back in Ep 3 and went angry when Stephen sided with Cathy in the end. If you give away Chad's secret to Sage in Ep8, she says "Mom [Jade] was right". It appears Jade has known Chad's secret the whole time. Yet, blackmailing the jocks makes no sense for Stephen and Quinn as it can jeopardize their illegal business.

I think people read too much into that line. about Sage's mom being right. Sage was clearly caught flatfooted by the idea Chad was gay. To me that suggests that Jade's concerns were more generic. She probably warned Sage that Chad was only using her for status and didn't have any real interest in her - which turned out to be true, just in a much more extreme way than expected.

As for a Leah analog, I sincerely hope there won't be one and DPC is just trying to make us jump at shadows.

That does seem to be the idea. I just wish it had been *shown* instead of told. The girls just don't react to the competition very much, and a lot of the reactions we do get (like Jill's fit of jealousy if the MC photobombs Tybalt's presentation) aren't actually witnessed by the MC.

Jade's 'assault' on the MC was a month ago and if you turned her down nothing has happened since. The MC should no more panic here than he should we he sees her in the Prep mansion - when the event was far more recent AND he is the one who would have suffered if she made a scene. Yet somehow he controlled his sphincter in that case. Learning Jade is Sage's mom at the end of Episode 8 *should* have given the MC an overwhelming sense of relief at having unknowingly dodged a bullet. Panicking makes absolutely zero sense if you gave her the cold shoulder.

The MC's reaction to Maya/Josy in Episode 4 (when he'd already turned them down) was one of the weaker aspects of the game. It's a mistake that should have been learned from, not doubled down on.

Yes, DPC can try to control the damage and give us a bunch of different reactions in Episode 9, but in my book that's too little, too late. This problem should never have happened in the first place. DPC needs to learn not to pull shit like this, and trying to rationalize away the insanity only encourages him to keep doing it.

Judging by the evidence collected there is a high likelihood that a watered down Leah equivalent exists in the plot, also someone is in charge for this prostitution ring. Any ideas on who could be the ringleader and who are his/her undercover accomplices?
