I don't think it Quinn stans who only attack Maya! It Josy, Sage and other girls stans too since Maya loan issues is like a virus infecting every girls (Sage and now Jill). Some people don't like Maya cause she is a cheater and yet they can't break off their friendship or stay away from them. I personally like Maya and just hate the fact that she can be overbearing and annoying sometimes. She was actually a very fun character before her toxic relationship with Josy and her bag full of dramas in season 2.

Early in the game I really liked Maya and hated Quinn but just as you said, things changed. With every episode I liked Quinn more and more, Maya on the other hand dropped like a brick. Right now only thing that Maya do is screaming "pity me".

Look back through the comments about Maya, there's criticism from people who clearly are not Quinn-stans, there's a very clearly Zoey stan who regularly posts anti-Maya stuff, there's also Sage fans, and even Josy fans.
Meanwhile those who defend Maya tend to be Maya-stans, there's very few who have a clear preference for another character who back Maya against the criticism when it comes.
Sure, there's some people who like characters other than Quinn, and who criticize Maya. And the exact same thing can be said about Quinn -- there's some people who have different favorites, who don't like Quinn. But does it mean, to use your own wording, "basically everyone who isn't a Quinn stan dislikes Quinn"? Somehow i doubt you'd agree with such sweeping generalization when it's aimed at the character you happen to like.

It's funny tho. I mean, it's known that I'm not the biggest Maya fan, hell, she irritates me. I meme on her from time to time as well.
But I don't hate the character. I actually hope she gets her shit together and solves the problems. My main issue is that no matter what route you are on, every route is getting attached to solving her issues, so at times it feels like Maya is the MC, and FuckFace the vessel for the story.
So many characters in the game for us to enjoy, let everyone enjoy his girls and that's it.

This is well said, so hating a character due to DPC's writing is kind of pointless. At the end of the day, it's DPC who made Maya the way she is. For all my not being the biggest fan of Maya, I did find funny moments and joy in the MJ route. Would be lying if I'm not hopeful for a solo Josy route, but it is what it is. MJ route was dead in the water for me early on, but to each his own.
Never was really about Quinn, and more about her fans, who were constantly trashing and hating Maya, and refuse to admit that quinn might have flaws. " oh she just misunderstood ".
Quinn is interesting character but the truth is she would be universally hated if she was a man, and do some of the shit she does

But We talking about Badik , a porn game and Quinn popularity can be summed up with a simple example, allow me to demonstrate :
Quinn is an asshole so does Tommy, yet one of them is liked more, wonder why, right?
Fun fact, Quinn and Maya are similar, lets say opposites of the same coin. Both are in deep shit. Both require help to get out of their shit. Both will most likely depend on MC fucking Priscilla or something like that. The resolve of the Burke/Priscilla thing will in a way most likely free both Maya and Quinn. We don't know much about why Quinn is doing what she is. Is she being forced and blackmailed. So much to learn still. Overall, without the complete game, we can only speculate. But Maya and Quinn ain't that different. Just Maya is the pure and passive type, Quinn is the aggressive and Queen B type.
Hell, Sage could end up being the real big bad at this point. Since destroying the Burkes will destroy her life.
Sticking with Sage might end up the most DIK thing to do, who the fuck knows. Game can go into so many dirrections.

If you can back it up with by pointing out that only people with Quinn as their favourite have been backing her in the attacks (you can't because over the last few pages people who clearly have a different favourite have defended her) then I'd agree.
For the record I'm included in this as Quinn isn't even in my top 3. Sage is currently best girl, Josy would replace her if she had a solo route, Cam is third but with a frustrating lack of content. Quinn's also behind Rio and Zoey, she's miles ahead of Maya and Jill though.

Just about everybody aside from Maya fans are tired of her. No matter which route you will go there is Maya and her problems. On the other hand we have people like Bella and Quinn who fade into obscurity if we don't go for their routes. Of course we see them from time to time but neither of them nor their problems are constantly showed into our faces. If Maya would be like that there would far less people who hate her.
