His dad is such an adoring parent. He clearly knows he can't provide very well for himself and his son but he tries so hard to make the best out it. The final straw was "He even rented a car". That brought me to tears. He just cares so much.
The only problem is that I quit Acting Lessons because it made me far too emotional for a porn game. I hope that I can maybe finish this one. As I have already fallen in love with one of the characters. And no, it's not the store clerk tramp.

I agree, this game is completely unmatched. As someone who gets bored really easy and drops any show, game or book that doesn't captivate my attention the whole time through, I've never been so impressed by a visual novel

Also Josy never said she had a boyfriend, the protagonist was the one who thought that and Maya was very relieved when he didn't told the receptionist that her roomate hadn't appear yet.
Plus there is the fact Josy goes straight to Maya's room at the end of episode 3. I doubt that was a coincidence.

1- Josie lied to MC about being grounded, cause she had to be setting up moving in with Maya
2- Maya knew Josie was coming and lied to MC
