I was very dissapointed with the interlude. Consequence was, i canceled my sub on patreon... i dont like EP9, in fact its my least favorite episode so it stayed that way and i dind renew my sub, only payed once for the epsiode, and i will do so agian. But its still better than most content delivered by any other DEV, except maybe 2 or 3 others, but they didnt deliver that much good content overall as DPC did so far.

Many players complained about episode 8 too, but mos tof the time i dont get why. Its one of my favorite episodes. But thats different tastes for you i guess.

No matter what, his patrons increased, if iam not wrong about it, he has reached his peak at the start of the year, naturally it cooled down a bit, but there a still over 13000 patrons which is more than he ever had before during a year. and those numbers will rise again when the episode comes out for a while, maybe reaching 15000 or more. On top of that... being a dik as really good numbers on steam and gog too. I dont think this will change with EP10, no matter if its good or bad. Not even the intelrude had a negative impact, and its the least favorite episode for most players, heck most players just skip it.

If there would be a "make or break" for a lot of players, it would have been a while ago. But there was only "make" not break so far. And EP10 will not change that. In the discord, on his patreon site, and especially in this thread you can see that everybody wants to get his hands on the upcoming EP10. yeah i complain too that the waiting time is too long, that EP9 pretty much sucked, and i even canceled my sub because of it. But it will change not the fact that i will pay once its out. And so will many others too.

A "make or break" point is long gone... His support numbers will not really go down anymore. The only think that can "break" this game is DPC himself.

For fucks sake... look at all the "milker" projects out there, not delivering any worth downloading content for YEARS. And still they have thousands of supporters and making a lot of money out of it, without doing anything worth it. I will never understand why people just dont quit supporting those milkers... but as long as DPC is working on this game, i am 100% sure he will not lose a significant amount of supporters.

For me... if EP10 is not that good (again) i will lose my overall "drive" for the game i think, at least until the next episode is out. so far i make new playthroughs every now and then, at least one complete playthrough every two months, or even every month... If EP10 cant deliver its likely that i will not make many more playthroughs anymore and just wait silently for the next episode. But nonetheless i would pay for next one too until the game is finished cause i just want to see the "end"

I really hope DPC can hold up his motivation to get the game done one day. With good will its at least another 5 years until the end, a very long time, where many things can happen in life. For most DEVs around here i would say "nope this game will never be finished" but i have good feeling that DPC wants to finish this no matter what.

As a start-to-date exercise, there is a lot to do in one go. A lot a lot. It's very impressive, and I'm oddly invested in the characters. First time through the only path I deliberately tried to get on was Isabella, and somehow cockblocked myself. So I started over after applying the mod, and so here I am.

Good advice... DONT use mods any kind. DPC doesnt want those, and is adding stuff with each episode to screw up the savegames if there was used a mod. Every single complain about the game "not working" is because of mods/cheats and those.

If you want to be rather safe than sorry, dont use them, use the walkthrough PDF if you are not sure how to go about a certain "path" Everything you need is in them, in detail.

I had an issue trying to do a New Game (Ep 1) after applying the Scrappy mod and the gallery unlockers. Then I started without them, applied the modes on a clean save, and was able to play all the way through Ep 9 without any issues.

The last time I touched this game was definitely when it was released and it's been a few years since then so I just want to know if I should wait longer or start with the game now because the next update will take even longer. I'm not going to spend my limited gaming time resource by scrounging a Ren'py environment for $2 of in-game currency when I could just click "MAX Money" and get what I want out of my playing time. Sorry wrong phrasing on my part, i said peak but didnt meant it. I wanted to say his average numbers were increased over time... and having about 13.000 patreons over a year now is the highest average amount he had so far.

And as i said, patreon is getting more insignificant, especailly the last two years. Interesting is his fellowship on other platforms, like steam or twitter (its on that graph too) which is building up more and more.

So no we are not at a "make or break" point or something like that, its more likely that his overall numbers will increase even more with time, though... patreon might lose more supporters with time, cause its getting more and more insignificant. Most of "the quality" games around here make already way more money outside of patreon. And thats the case for being a dik too.

Hm, maybe you need to play EP9 again and dont skip anything, you will notice how DPC uses animations in that episode and that most of them are not used in lewd content. And it varys a lot regarding the complexity of those animations. In the lewd scenes we have many short ones, and some are very complex. same goes for animations outside of those sex/lewd scenes.

everybody can jerk off the number of renders, they *think* theyre getting a quality update. Might I remind people that episode 9 had an insane amount of renders, but was one of the most disappointing updates of the year? I finished all the routes (skipped past the redundant dialogue) in 6 hours. Meanwhile, if you look ahead to the rank 1/2 games, they are pushing out 2 significant updates, with better storyline progression, better scenes and faster than DPC can push out 1 mid update.

Meanwhile, all these posters continue to bide their time, jacking off to the number of 4090 cards DPC ordered. The sex scenes have been lackluster too, yeah DPC poses them in the same 4-6 positions with high quality renders but they fuck like lifeless animatrons, all at the same speed/tempo. no significant movement in the story for 2 episodes now.

Strange that the updates get shittier, as the "quality" increases. I'd bet if people polled those who have been following the game, the most popular updates have all been within the 1st 3-4 seasons.

Those other games you talked about look like they use Honey Select which doesn't take as long to get images from but doesn't look anywhere close to as good as Daz renders, and as someone who has been spending the last 3 months learning Daz 5000 renders is a mindblowing number that would take months just to pose. If you support dpc on Pateron and feel you're not getting your money's worth then you absolutely can and should cancel your membership, but if you're only here for the free porn like me and the majority of other people on this site then you can suck it up and wait. If you're that horny beat your dick to one of the thousands of other games on this site, and if you think the game is shitty just stop downloading the updates.

Uh there are so many animations... like the walking preps, the whole starting cinematic of the episode, leon getting spanked by tommy, the movie scene, the bus and so on and on and on and on most of the time very short animations most people didnt even noticed. DPC really went overboard with so many animations in that episode, well and you said it... you cant remember them. And thats exactly the point why they are so unnecessary.

Other thanb that, yep episode 9 is my least favorite too in my book. Especially cause not much happened other than party-stuff. And a whole episode just about party stuff... yeah not my thing. The real important things didnt get much progress, and some things like the visit at burkes or the pregnancy thingy were pretty much dropped. Didnt understand what the point was in making the burke scene (just to drop that Sage is a Burke? Didnt need that much "drama" to go about that for nothing) or why there needs to be a pregnant arieth. But well... it is what it is... its done and now we can move on to things that reall matter, hopefully.

Play it now. Definitely play it now.

If you wait for the update and play all the way through to the end of episode 10 in one go, you're then up for a 9 month to 1 year wait for the next episode.

But if you play it now, you'll be begging for another episode soon, and it'll be here in a month or two... or three... or maybe four... Sure, after that you're still in the same boat waiting for episode 11, but at least you'll be eased into it.

This game has set the bar for quality and quantity in this field. Once you've played it, all the other games won't be the same again. Unless of course you are into the games that perpetrate sleep rape and all that shit, in which case, this game won't deliver.

I am luck to be late to the show here. I just downloaded the game for the first time and gave it a run through.

I am not buying Jill and Isabella as best friends. The way they're characterized and drawn, I honestly thought Bella was her mom at first, not her bestie. So that's a bit weird. The game suffers from the common affliction of insisting older chicks have giant titties, and younger chicks have smaller titties. Not a rule in the game, necessarily, but some of these ladies, goodness.... haha (And I admit Bella falls into this category, despite being my favorite)

If you've been playing the game since 2019 and have become disillusioned over the pace of updates, I'm sorry. Because if you wait 4 years and play the game from cold-and-dark to where it is today, it's actually a decently long play and very entertaining.

There is one drawback to coming late to the party: You're not up to speed with all the theories and opinions on shit. This game thread is the longest by a lot, and it's mainly because of how much there is to discuss.

People have poured over every line of dialogue, every eyebrow lift, every eyeball reflection (ok, the reflections are mainly just dalli_x ) because it seems the developer put thought into everything.

Even your suggestion that there's more to Jill and Bella; just this one sentence from her sends people theorising their asses off:

You can use Unren. I’ve been using it pretty much every release and never broken anything and you don't have to be concerned about updates.

It's piss easy to use just find the variable and you can change it by typing it in the console.

Money is money= 5
mansion_money = 2000 (mansion minigame funds)
mAddedExp = 2000 (mansion minigame exp)
pp_money = 2000 (party minigame funds)
Girl relationship is RPgirlsname = 20, faction is the same such as RPhot = 20
tc = 20 (the cheating variable)
dik = 20

Story shit is usually stuff like ep6_envy_lewd = True but you need to be careful fucking with switches as that can break a save if you're dumb about it.
