I don't understand this. Game keeps shutting down at basically same spot. I've tried just about evrything even import files, game still crashes exact same spot, depending on branch. Any ideas?

From what I read somewhere (done done it myself yet): "at the Bookshelf on the left of the first room it puts you in when the free roam starts. theres a book called unlock unlock up the top right. "
I have no mods and the game crashes constantly.So, the crashing issue is just with modded saves? I thought it was crashing on clean games too? Is DPC just out to get the pirates or are Patrons having this issue as well? If it's crashing for Patrons, how the hell did it make it out of testing?

To be sure, I just replayed it. Have you checked all the rooms for cameras? And talked to Derek for 2nd time? If thats is not a problem, then I don't know. And yes, I was wrong about calls, sorry.

Yeah I checked all rooms and spoke to Derek twice. There is nothing in my task list or optional task list.
AVN =/= game. Most here don't care about gaming shit, there's Steam for that. I skipped the bullshit minigames and I'd skip the free roam crap too if I could. Why? I just wanna read and make some choices and fap to the consequences of those choices, no more, no less. And AVNs tend to have a deeper story/context/immersion for the sex scenes than random porn clips found on Pornhub or wherever (not to mention real porn + lolis = bad idea to dl, but in the majority of the world it's fine if it's rendered/cartoon).

Must be a bug then. But try to speak to Sage, she is in the same room with Jacob and Josy. Also you can go outside, to speak with Quinn. For me finding Quinn was a bit tricky, the door outside is in the same room as well, as Sage. But if that didn't help at all, maybe you can reload the save, or restart the game. Otherwise, I don't really know what is an issue with your game, sorry.

why the mother fuck do you use mods/cheats and blame the DEV for it? Without mods and cheats you would not have ANY error.
Meh I'm too lazy to start over myself. Haven't played since last year but isn't there an in-game wt that shows stat results of choices? I thought there was. Without those game-breaking cheats some LI's are simply not available in some playthroughs (you will never get everyone in a single pt, that's always been the case), so the choices leading to them are greyed out.

Who said anything about murder? He made it clear from very early on he fucking hates people coming to him for tech support when they've modded their game. His coding is so anti-cheat that it went beyond merely closing the game at one point, but it also aggressively wiped out all of your collectibles and other progress as well.

You know what? You've got me here- this is an oversight on my part that I forgot about. I had to change a variable on my copy that I played on my cellphone for that very same reason, no cheats involved. It had something to do with the OS detection under Joiplay, but it's been six months, I can't remember what the heck it was. Basically I just had to change it from false to true (or the other way around) and everything played fine.
