The fact that he totally treats Derek differently from Maya is inexcusable. This is what really makes me think ill of him.

Derek is, at least as far as Patrick knows, straight, while Maya is gay. We don't know how Patrick would treat Derek if he also was gay. As far as i understand, Patrick objects to Maya's orientation mainly because it means his wife/their mother won't see come true her lifetime wish of witnessing their children "get married and have children of their own". A wish he's made a cornerstone for his daily struggle, the one thing/reason for him to continue his own efforts.

I'd say it's unhealthy and totally unfair to Maya, but i can also see where he's coming from here in what's effectively became his obsession.

guys anybody got a fix for this cause i think a lot of us are having this problem?
maybe someone can make a save starting after this scene?

So I have saves from Episode 9 for the Sage, Others and Maya/Josy paths but honestly with the extended delay I've lost my will to continue the game further. Is this episode worth the time sink required of the free-forms and minigames to make downloading and playing further worth it? I've previously paid for game seasons but can't see myself paying again if the enjoyment just isn't there like it once was. Thanks in advance...

So i tried installing the mod clean, but when I click continue, I have all the saves from the last episode, yet when I click any of them, I get "An exception has occured" why is this? No matter what I click on, ignor, rollback etc. I it takes me to the import screen from S2. No idea what to do

Same problem here, game patched and standalone

Here's a fix for modded saves to avoid crashing until Scrappy's mod is updated (0.10.0, Scrappy's mod used before):

Alternatively, you can set persistent.mod_wtenabled = None in the console to no longer crash. You'll need to enable the wt in Scrappy's mod when it's updated later if you do that.

So I am fucking around with scripts, looking for things - cheating points (tc)

1 - Looking at Zoey instead of picture of Leon - +1 on every path except others
2 - Looking at Biana - + 1 for Jill however it only works if we told Jill that Matthew is cheating on Bianca
3 - Touching Maya's socks - + 1 on every path except others
4 - Telling Josy you would consider banging Arieth - +1 on every path except others

Playing beer pong with Camilla? (Telling her to remove it all or that she doesn't need to)
Telling John Boy that Elena is hot when he asks you to cuck him?

If at some point I am required to obtain zero cheat points for something, then I'm going to have a really hard time justifying that playthrough ...

Well, after a couple of runs this update is definitely a dud. 2 scenes less than last update (which was great), and 3 of them are madame scenes... If there hadn't been 67 minigames stretching out the segments I might've considered it passable. Now I gotta redo all my paths with minigames off... Can't believe this update took all this time to make... Actually scratch that, I can believe coming up with all those minigames took that long, the question is... why?

Just get a hard exception,
ScriptError: Name (u'game/scripts/episode9/update9.rpy', 1645277133, 184) is defined twice, at game/scripts/episode09/update9.rpyc:2 and scripts/episode9/update9.rpyc:2.

So no fix for the hard crash at Helen sitting on the table at the start of EP10?

Just get a hard exception,
ScriptError: Name (u'game/scripts/episode9/update9.rpy', 1645277133, 184) is defined twice, at game/scripts/episode09/update9.rpyc:2 and scripts/episode9/update9.rpyc:2.

you have to delete the season09 map inside the scripts map, then it will work

so, played my Bella savegame...

Well, not much, some sweet, some fun scenes with her, and the night after the camp of course... hm... she opened up a little. Not that much info, but i guess... many guys think her husband is in the military and yeah, missing now... Dont know, its a good guess as any i think.

Two facts Bella told us... he is indeed missing for 3 years now, and "they" say he could may be alive... well, that is not narrowing down alot what could have happened. But its something that traumatized Bella a lot. At least she talked a little bit about it, and i dont have the feeling anymore that Bella might turn out to be "psycho", she is just hurting really bad. If i would need to place a bet, i would say... James WILL comeback at some point. And Bella has to decide if she wants to stay with MC, but i think this will happend at epsiode 14 at the earliest.

After i played the Bella path now... man... it sure is a "heavy" kinda depressing episode in many ways hm? The illness of Helen, Bellas trouble, Mayas abusing Father, Rios kidnapping in the end, Derek is down a lot, Nick screwing with Heather, she breaking up with Tommy... Not much happiness around. And still many fun scenes too... but yeah... all around, no episode felt THAT heavy. And iam not even done yet...

The new Brawler is just utter crap. Pretty much impossible to hit the buttons before you're hit.

i managed it. But one good advice, invest in speed and block if you want to win against chao and dwayne. Speed will increase the reaction time. Helps a lot. I spent all points except one after winning twice against troy, 1 block, 1 speed, than 1 power, and faught chao... after that you can spend the last point again into speed so speed is at 3. After that the reaction window is pretty easy.

Or well... just go for the normal mode, that is real easy anyways. I got tired of brawler after my second playthrough and went for normal difficulty after that, its really easy if you spend a skillpoint in speed, block and power. And it is by far fairer than sage-training-session

Oh yeah, forgot... if you played brawler before and didnt get all skills up, well you are kinda screwed cause those carry over in some regard.
