Okay. So the only mini-game I just completely hate is the ones where you have to keep the courser in the path. I don't even get near the edge, and it says I fail! What is with that? I really don't get it. Wish there was a way to cheat just on them.

Patreon's checks aren't perfect. A lot of people do a lot of shit there for a long while before being kicked. And they let people off for absolute BS excuses. "It's not your mom it's your landlady." "The kid may look 12 but it clearly says he's 18."
DPC would likely get away with it, but as a whole the game reads as non-incest.
Tommy specifically seems to actually see Josy as his sister. Josy is quick to correct people and say that they are step-siblings, but Tommy always leaves the "step" out. According to Pete Josy's step-mother Monica was very worried about her. He could of course just be straight up lying about it or trying to convince himself, but then Josy could be twisting things too.
Mostly I see the characters' last names as trivial details, but Tommy's might actually be significant. If his last name has been legally changed to "Taylor", it might mean he actually likes his step-dad and step-sis or at least supports his mother's happiness. He is just a bit tsundere about it.
Mere speculation obviously, but Josy's backstory has gotten way too little attention, so I kind of expect there to be some twist to it. That or Monica turns out to be insanely hot.

Press SHIFT + G and make some settings adjustments. RenPy default perfomance settings are shit and source of lags & choppy animations and playthrough, transitions and things like minigame troubles you mentioned. By default the "powersave" mode is always enabled. Also in most cases GL2 renderer are set by RenPy by default and it's sucks for NVIDIA GPUs (you'll get accidental freezes from time to time and will have to alt-tab to recover).
Here is how to tweak any RenPy game properly (it saves settings per game, not globally, so try the same in other games you play too):

To me it seems Tommy had a really shitty biological dad, that's why when MC calls Tommy to be a lousy father he said the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. But Tommy gets infuriated on mere thought of getting horny about Josy And is pretty big on "Family comes first". IMO Tommy really appreciates that Pete came in his life and likes Josy like a sister.
Also DPC Ain't taking even a small risk with incest bullshit even if it's step. I have seen few game devs on f95 crying how Patreon fucked them over funding due to step relations. Moreover BAD is based on college comedies unlike the obvious retarded generic AVNs.
