If people want to do something about this you simply end your patreon membership until he releases a game. Then he doesn't make money until there is a release. Why people pay for something that isn't giving you the content you want doesn't compute in my brain.The explanation is:
- Badik is his game and nobody can't touch it (the same reason he hates MODs)
- Hiring people means spends more money and less time milking patreons in the future
So DPC is basically a stingy diva
Since there are so many branches at this stage of the game development and he does all the work himself, the development time will grow and grow. I believe he works meticulously and milks things to an extend, but not the way many people think he does.
The patrons have the power because they are likely funding the majority of the game. If you don't like it, don't support it. That is the only way DPC would likely consider changing his workflow. Otherwise, get used to development times being longer and longer.
