dunno about the animations, but you are right on the cinematics. You need to watch them at least once. Not sure if there is a workaround, but I don't mind that, I'll watch them once.

I guess animations are either .mp4 or .webm, but what are cinematics? Never heard about those (not that I am an expert, but I'm always willing to learn).
