I would take Ocean out of that list. He's intentionally working on 2 titles at once. WiAB is barely out of the gates, and is already at 1 yr update intervals. SG is hardly at perhaps %40 produced, and has had several setbacks. He can barely keep up with 1 title, yet he insists on working on both. That's a business model that will never see the completion of either of his titles. In my eyes that falls right into the milker category whether you agree with that or not.Putting aside why people care what strangers do with their £$€ I think the presumption is Patrons changing how or if they pay would change dev behavior and these days I have real doubts it would. It's frustration looking for a fix to long AVN dev times.

I’m not sure why changing how the talented devs are funded or paying them less is going to make them work faster or produce more; if losing money couldn't motivate milkers to do that. I think the truth is AVNs taking years is what it is now and you either put it on ignore or wait.
Unless you have an actual contract with someone or own shares good luck influencing their work schedule in any way.

When he ditched his partner(s) for whatever reason, he should have halted WiAB and concentrated on just 1 title. I might have some rather harsh criticisms of DPC but at least he's persistent, like a dog chasing his tail. Folks might moan and cry about the lengthy dev cycle, but that's generally those that don't have a grasp of the coding and path complexity of BaDIK. But in my eyes, Ocean has performed a carnal sin by not compromising on his aspirations. He basically bit off more than he can chew.

And they don't have the billions of the likes of EA etc to help them get security or help... (Even "normal" devs are getting harassed by utter morons nowadays on the daily).

only devs who deserve to be doxxed are EA and when i say that, i more mean the shareholders and CEO, they can get fucked for all the studios they have shut down.

Fair point. I would say though, that if folks are paying then they are owed regular status updates. Doesn't matter how big your release window is... the customers will always be much more tolerant if you let them know what's going on. Other than that protecting yourself and your family should always come first.
My point is your obsession with black men, this isn't even about BaDIK but how people like you seem to have a need to post about it in so many threads even when it has nothing to do with the subject matter. You are right. The reason for this screwed up economy in porn games is due to the fact that porn games are not mainstream and so there's no economies of scale to be had. While a handful of porn games, like Being a DIK, seem to have broken through to becoming a bit less niche, it's still not something any of us will talk with coworkers (or even close friends!) about. And because so much porn is hidden away and private, most people don't buy it (as evidenced by all of us here on this forum), but steal it instead. So given all that, how would most AVN developers ever see any real commercial success? Instead they must rely almost entirely on a much smaller group of core funders.
The only way to change this would be for all us here to stop downloading "free" games and play only what we buy.
