Been on the fence for trying this for a while - finally pulled the plug and downloaded the 20Gig S1 and S2
I gotta ask what is so special about this game .. I'm not even attacking I'm genuinely asking - renders look nice but I see no animations which is rather disappointing specially it being 20GB
Looks to be story heavy so can someone just lemme know about the quality of the sexual stuff and if animations are there later on before i sink in more time - its 20GB so I'm sure its gonna take a while to get through the game and I dont wanna invest so much time only to regret it lmao

This game isn’t just a porn game with sexy girls and animated fuck scenes for jerking off to.
It’s actually a really enjoyable flashback to 80s style college sex comedy. The characters are enjoyable as individual characters, not just tits and ass for the mc to fuck.
The music has been well selected to suit the scenes.
The humour is spot on (but always subjective).
And the story is a big pile of melodrama that is absorbing.
Also the creator pays a lot of attention to little details and heightens the game from the typical porn novels on this site.
It’s just a good fun romp with a nice guy mc that treats women as people (and never stoops to raping them in their sleep).
That’s my take anyway.

Do you base your interest only on animations? There are animation by the way. And if any, too many animations as you progress. The quality of animations is average for a VN. If you're expecting professional animations that's not the VN for you, if there is any (I have yet to see proper animations in a VN).
I personally appreciate this VN for various aspects, so yes you'll have to deal with a not linear plot, you will have to actually read all the dialogues, deal with extra stuff like phone apps and minigames and so on. It takes many hours to play and play again to discover all the paths.
Lewds are not among the best and are scarce in quantity compared to many others AVNs. So if you just look for sex scenes and good lewd animations this VN is not for you.
If you're into cutscenes "suitable for work" animations just wait for next episode in March 2025 (probably).

I wouldn't say lewds are scarce in this game, and I've certainly played many games with far fewer lewds (taken in proportion to the total game length). Season 1-2 has 100 lewd scenes (and there's 34 in the Interlude + ep10), and I can't correlate that with the word "scarce". What you see obviously depends on choices, but there are definitely plenty of lewds there...

Compared to the gameplay (the hours you need to properly finish an episode), the sex scenes are scarce. An episode of BaD is much bigger than a comparable single episode from the average VN. You have to consider the total volume, the ratio between sex scenes and the rest. Episode 11 will have even fewer lewds, only 18 scenes among 7150 static renders. Season 1 with a similar number of static renders had 29 scenes.
BaD is not really focused on sex scenes, so if you promote it telling newbies "you'll get plenty of good sex scenes" they will be deluded, you are creating false expectations. There are many VN more filled with sex or eroticism, compared to BaD.
So if a players looks mostly for sexual content, I wouldn't suggest this VN. It's not a VN that can suit everybody.

I disagree that you would be deluding anyone or creating false expectations. And people play at different speeds anyway. It's not like it's a sex scene every time you blink, but it's hardly devoid of them either. Saying the scenes are scarce creates the impression (to me) that there are hardly any scenes, which is just not the case. I would suggest it's quite well balanced - it's not giving you so many scenes as to be just a fuckfest, but it's also not blue-balling you, it's comfortably in the middle.
And to be clear, I'm not saying that I personally promote the game based on the number or quality of the scenes, as I initially said, I was just curious as to your chosen response and wording.

I guess he did 60 fps just because the character moves pretty slow during sex scenes. If you just speed up the scene the animations get jerky. Scenes with 60 fps are much smoother which is evident in the last episode.
The more I think about the reasons for everything that's going on right now, the more I'm sure his main mistake is the сrossroad. When ep8 ended it was already clear that he had trapped himself and development would only get more difficult. Usually developers introduce branching in the final stages, but he did it in the middle. He could have easily done without it. There was no need to create such long episodes because of branching to give equal content to all branches.
Also, it's been 3-4 months in the game at the time of ep8. No one makes such a big decision so early. MC could have easily announced his decision on Valentine's Day.
It's really funny. Especially since he fucking BANNED EVERYONE FROM F95 IN HIS DISCORD SERVER AND PATREON! WE CAN'T FUCKING SUPPORT HIM BECAUSE WE'RE BANNED!

no, he does ban even if you don't mention it, call me paranoid but i'm sure he has his spies here. as soon as a new patron joins they check if his username matches any f95 user, if it's a match, then BAN.

For Midnight Paradise it's still there. A lot of people ignore the user 7767 though, and as that account is the OP for a lot of games (including MP), it prevents the first post (which contains that info and those links) from being shown.

During free roam at the begining of chapter 10 my saves dosen't work properly. All phone progress (Bios, Games, Rooster etc), reset after reload. Is there anything I can do about this?
