Interlude is good.
Yes I said it, yes I believe it, no I don't need to be locked up in loony bin. It's good in terms of humor, art, cleverness and emotions as well as various thought provoking moments. There are also some pretty characters we might see again later in game. I'm not saying it should always be played on every run, that's why the skip option exists. But if you haven't played it at least once with actually paying attention to doodles and dialogue - you've made a mistake. It's not too late to fix it.
So if you're done being bitter about developement wait time or resources used on something not necessary, give it a try again. It's especially good if you do a really immersive run from 0 and pay extra attention to game as a whole. The way I look at Interlude then is glass of wine or cup of coffee between hearthy meal (Season 1-2) and dessert (Season 3). I don't even like Zoey that much, but there are people who like her a lot and diss Interlude? Now that's loony bin material.
Off to the final steps for my masterpiece Nicole run, all the important foundation is set in Season 1-2, now we reap the fruits!
P.S. Did any madman beat Elena's Level 8008 in Triple Tile? I'm tempted to sit down one boring evening and trying how far can I go. Can't be harder than that stupid basketball minigame (I'm still salty about it because I had to get top score which is bloody hard).
