What I meant with my comment is that, you can't be surprised if a specific creator, being DPC or not, gets new subcribers even when they have not released anything recently.
People find out about VNs when they find out about them and in some cases, if they feel like it, they decide to reward these creators.
Personally I tend to subscribe to smaller creators, but that's old commie me.

Haha dammit I'm out of reactions, but this was funny, so this is my reaction:
I'm going to be honest since we are on a "FFA site" I haven't paid a single cent to DPC, despite considering his VN one of the better ones I've experienced so far.
I do support thou 5-6 creators, and they tend to change over the months, I have probably only supported one longer than 4-5 months.
It might be right or wrong, but I honestly don't care, the reason I do it is because it's my way of saying "thank you" and, since I only support smaller ones, provide a bit of support for them to grow.
Then I log on here and feel absolutely no shame in downloading stuff for free when I feel like it.

My parents didn't teach many things, but one of the few was that if you are going to work with other people's money do it well and optimized and above all fulfill what you promised to those who gave you the money.and how motivated would you be to end the story?

Doesn't affect the development very much since it comes down to how long the manual work takes. Maybe a week or two, tops. The reason he did was so that his computers wouldn't finish too quickly and stand idle. It was that or create more animations, but that would also add to the manual workload.

And how would it help if renders and animations get finished long before he's finished with the writing, doing art and coding? Not to mention taking away something he enjoys doing will just make him get burned out on developing the game. If you were a game developer, would you hire people to do some of the parts you enjoyed the most just because people think you should?
There are games that try to optimize things, like you suggest. One dropped from 7000 patreons to under 1300 because he "optimized" to get updates released earlier. If he did, as you and others want, and it all turns to shit, he loses most of his patreons and the game drops in quality, would that make you happier?

Then what story should he cut? What paths and side girls would people accept him cutting? Because that's what takes time. Would people have been happier without any side girl paths and a quicker release? Quinn's exclusive scenes took at least a month to make in Episode 10, maybe he should have cut that? How about cutting Nora, Nicole, Riona, Lily? That would have saved time.
People want him to release the same path-filled high-quality game, but faster than possible. They want factory processed food with the quality of a restaurant.

If he was still at 30 FPS then it would have been much faster.
Rio might not have much appearance in this update if DPC decides to wait to E12 to wrap that up.
Nora already broke up with MC how much more of here is there gonna be? Might be none
Intertwined has tons of branches yet V12 was early this year and V13 was later this year. Sure a few girls didn't get a ton of content but in some episodes of BAD some girls didn't get much content either
Or you know get rid of Madame Rose which everyone seems to hate and free up some time

How? He still isn't finished with the manual work, so how would getting the animations done faster make any difference? It would only have ment that they were finished much sooner than the game was and the computers just standing there doing nothing for months.
OK, so cut Riona and Nora from the game. I'm sure that would have made people happy.
And you consider it to be a much superior game to BaDIK? I don't agree, but fair enough.
Creating content takes time. 5 main LIs and several side girls take time. He tried to only concentrate on a couple of main girls per episode during season 2 and people were not happy about that. So let's say, to shorten time, he cut down on Maya, Josy and Quinn from Episode 11 and then Bella, Jill and Sage from Episode 12, to release it a couple of months earlier. Would that make everybody happy?
Madame Rose content so far takes 1-4 days to make.
People want him to cut the release time basically in half. Cutting small content won't do much. He needs to cut either a lot of characters or a couple of major ones.
So maybe having an Others path was a bad idea, maybe he should have just kept the 5 main girls.
If eps are getting so large he could also expand the number of eps to make and cut them in half so instead what looks like christmas and new years split it into a smaller eps could do eps #a for christmas and eps #b for the. New years panty party and then get the fans an update at 6-8 months. Just a thought
