Madame is kind of a complicated subject. My main beef with her is that she isn't attractive. And I have a thing for MILFs with huge knockers. It is of course my personal opinion, but I'm fairly sure I'm not alone in thinking that.

The second point is that so far she seems to be an extra character with no purpose in the game's plot. This may yet be rectified and there are some hints of it, but if in the end she was just an extra, then all the VIP room things could have been replaced with scenes for the other Pink Rose girls. Think about it. The VIP room could have been a magical place where you get scenes with the Pink Rose girls with no need for a complicated set up. Scenes with Brandi and Tanya that we have been denied. More Rose. More Sandy. You could have alternate versions for Nicole and Lily depending on if you are just a customer or something more. We could still get that, but so far it's a massive stack of opportunities wasted on an oily manatee.

However there is one thing that people aren't entirely fair about and that is complaining about the number of scenes. Because you have to unlock them separately the scenes are in the game as independent entities, but as actual animation content they don't add up to all that much. Bella's anal scene in ep 10 is pretty big and might actually have more animation than Madame has in the entire game. She still has too much content because she doesn't deserve any in the first place, but comparing scene numbers is misguided if you ignore the amount of animation.

You are comparing the much shorter lower quality episodes of season 1 to the larger higher quality episodes he releases now. More girls, more unique paths, higher quality renders, much longer sex scenes, to name a few things.

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't the exact point people are making that they preferred the "lower quality" season 1 episodes to the "higher quality" season 3 episodes that take so much longer to release?

In particular, the "higher quality renders" and "much longer sex scenes" which each have a disproportionate impact on development time compared to their contribution to the game's quality.
