To be fair the art of delegating is either innate or very hard to master, first trick is to pick the right folks from the get go (which is a challange on its own).Folks are a cost, and to hire folks you don't just need money: you need to be a charismatic person with management skills.
You need to be willing to delegate, and thus to accept that nobody in the world is going to do something in the exact same way you would have done it.
Let's say that DPC has many other qualities...
Personally it took me decades to learn how to properly delegate, and only did it due to "circumstances". like it's impossible to run a big team without being able to delegate, then you realize that spending evenings and weekends working on something someone else would be able to do better than sleep deprived you...
