I think that in order to plausibly remain in the story Zoey needs to have something tying her to the campus. There are a lot of jobs and low-cost housing around a college campus. She needs to talk to the strippers and find out where they get all their tattoos done. Then again, while she is at it the pole always awaits if her other options fall through. That will keep her getting an invite to every DIK party. I'm just kidding. Maybe. In any case Zoey's story depends on changes being introduced to her status quo because running sobbing through the woods isn't a career choice unless you are in a slasher movie.

Since the English and Math classes will be ending this semester, what do you think will replace them in Spring? We know there's a class for engineers that Bella will teach, where you learn how to use research tools effectively. MC said it was optional, but fat chance he won't take it. I doubt we'll see the usual faces there (Derek, MJ, etc) but I'm sure there'll still be people we recognize. Since we hardly know what anyone is studying for, it'd be a good way to shine the spotlight on underutilized characters like Kylie or Tiffani, or those sort of neglected like Cammy. Or even another opportunity for Yoga Girl to pop up

Oh man, that scene REALLY tore me up emotionally. As a widower, I know how difficult it can be to let go and after many conversations with fellow widowers, it is VERY difficult to remove your rings. My late wife wore rings EXACTLY like this! A diamond, her wedding band and a 10 diamond, tenth anniversary ring I bought her.

I really had a sense that her husband had died and she had a hard time letting go, and how she felt guilty to have desires for anyone else (as many widows/widowers do). This was one of those scenes that I felt was REALLY well done and made me think the dev had personal knowledge of this sort of thing, who knows.

Been just over three years since my wife died. This is also part of why I really like her character and feel that perhaps she lost her husband and is just having a difficult time letting go. Who knows... well written character anyhow.
