It's really not. You don't even need to be a good storyteller as some of the most beloved VN's have absolutely fucking shit stories. Now... doing something like BAD is significantly more complex than the average VN. Though it would also be fair to argue it's become unnecessarily difficult for DPC due to his own personal failings. Back to the traditional VN, you can actually find tutorials of how to do all of it on Youtube. It is a time-sink, but if anything the bar for entry is too low.

Now, I'm not going to call BAD vanilla, but it's REALLY not that out there let alone dirty. It's not that dissimilar to something like GREEK, it just shows the explicit content that wouldn't have cut it on a Disney owned ABC Family at the time. My own life at that age was both significantly more mundane while being significantly more over the top. I went to HS in NV, half the chicks in my class ended up working at the houses. A kid a grade ahead of me drove to school every day in a company vehicle with his parents whore houses branding plastered all over it.

This post really caught me off guard. I've found that as I've gotten older my empathy has also grown. Maybe it's because I've been through more at this age, maybe it's because I've seen more and more people I care about endure tragedy and heartbreak, maybe it's because I work in medicine and as much as I'd like everyone to happily ride off into the sunset...that isn't always possible. In any case, I don't know you or anything about you, but I'm sorry you lost her. She must have been an amazing person for you to remember her so emotionally years later. All the best to you

There is no fight, Just a blind fanboy , take a personal insult every time, when DPC get a little roast, or criticism, or even skepticism.

I mean Mr Perfectionist is so above everyone else, that when Josy jump in the water , her hair stay ass perfect as in any l'oreal commercial :whistle:

The software is free, many of the assets are free, some assets can be bought really cheap, but you can also create them yourself or modify existing ones to get what you want. There are free tutorials on Youtube, including on how to remove watermarks from certain programs if you're more experienced with them and want to import them into something like Daz3d. You want to talk about personal computers in 2024? You're a freak if you don't own one in most places today.

You're playing stupid at this point. Stop it.

Of course, one could make an argument against looking for realism in a visual novel made up of 3D renders. I personally play these to escape reality! ;)

Free assets are also dated, so he usually doesn't use them. And everybody doesn't have several high-end computers at their disposal just for rendering, no.
