Yeah, I know who CGM is, I just didn't know which girl you thought looked like her. :ROFLMAO:
That was fun  It's she. She has a Daz .

EDIT: The worst was I looked at your signature and thought "I think is she," but I didn't know about the trick of clicking on the gif, so I watched it roll all over again trying not blink to confirm it. :ROFLMAO:

There's so very little to base this on, but I'm going to throw this out there: the guy Jill is talking with to help start a campaign in Lana's honor, Jonathan? That's Lana's old boyfriend.

On their way to meet Jill's parents, Jill mentions that Lana bringing her boyfriend home was one of the things that started fights between her and Geoff. She brings it up because she's nervous about how MC will be received, and doesn't have another frame of reference.
He was young and stupid and had an attitude about him.
He's not the same person today. He's changed for the better after Lana passed.
Um...
You're not like him. But we both know we're from different walks of life.
Now we've seen Jill communicate with Jonathan twice, and learn he is associated with support groups, and can help Jill with her attempt to create a campaign.
Dear Jonathan.
It's been a while! How have you been? I should have written you more often, but you know how it is.
For me, it's been all about college, with little time for much else.
Even so, you all have been in the back of my mind.
I made an attempt, a poor one at that, to start a campaign in Lana's honor, but I fear it will stay a dream if I don't get help with the first steps.
Remembering how you let me be a part of your group with open arms, you're the only one I know with the knowledge to help me get going.
Can we get together soon? I understand if you're busy, but I would love the opportunity to pick your brains about it.
All the best - Jill Royce
Jonathan? Yes, hi!
No, I can talk. I was playing the piano. I'm so happy you got back to me.
Yes, I agree, the phone is easier, but I figured that an e-mail would be more appropriate.
I didn't want to put you on the spot with my request.
Exactly.
That's where I'm a bit lost, I'm afraid. I've been thinking about those seminars and meetings you held.
Yes, maybe something like that?
My goals? Um...
When I say campaign, I mean to raise awareness, but also to help.
Yes?
Yes, I only have experience with that. That's where I can help.
Uh-huh.
Yes, I fully understand. But do you think that you'll ever get the time for it?
Next year...?
Yes, I'd love for you to be a part of it. It would make this a lot easier.
So, planning...sometime during fall, maybe?
Yeah, winter works, too, as long as you're not busy, haha.
No, I won't be telling them. At least not until it's thoroughly planned. They'd probably try to stop me somehow, and I need to do this.
Yes, let me know when you're free for it. Even if it's short notice, ok?
Take care! Bye.
It's not too much of a leap to believe that a reformed punk who might've contributed in some way to his girlfriend's death would want to help people process their own grief, as well as try and prevent similar tragedies. Her death is still shrouded in mystery, but there's hints of drug use, even a possible OD.

Jill doesn't seem the type of person to hold her sister's death against him, especially if he is truly remorseful and has changed for the better. They might not be close, but there's still a connection, hence not talking a lot but Jonathan being on the back of her mind.

As for why Jonathan never made his own campaign in Lana's honor, it wouldn't be very appropriate without the Royce family's approval, and I don't think he would get it from Geoff and Amelia. Jill mentions that "they" would try and stop her, I imagine this is why. They want nothing to do with him, and might even consider it an insult.

Again, there is so little to try and formulate a theory, but I wouldn't rule it out.

It's a lot better theory than some you see around here and makes a lot of sense to me.(y)

I don't know if him being Lana's ex change would change anything (at least not yet).

I'd say it's reasonable to assume that Jonathan and Lana's reformed boyfriend are at the very least connected.

"Even so, you all have been in the back of my mind." Refers to a group I think. Lana's friends presumably. Jonathan may simply be a leading figure within the group. Someone who took it upon himself to try to connect with Lana's little sister while the boyfriend was too full of grief and guilt.

Simpler of course if Jonathan is the boyfriend.

It changes nothing because nothing has happened yet :HideThePain:
But when something does happen, then Jonathan being Lana's boyfriend would make it all more personal, rather than him just being just a support group guy Jill knows.

I actually missed the "all", good point. Hmmmm... for a microsecond, I wondered if maybe some of Jill's friends from the sushi date were Lana's friends. Not Bianca or Carla, but maybe Matthew and Olivia, the older ones.

But I'm not really sure they'd be friends with Lana, and I think something like that would've come up by now.

I'm retired, kids have all left home and my wife works away about 60% of the time. So most of the time it's just me and the animals. :)
Seriously I thought you're the same age as me maybe a little older around 2 or 3 yrs. Older than me. I never expected that you are already retired
She what 50 and still wearing braces? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Darkwen the Josy lover you're being kind to a Senior Citizen she's in her 60's already
I switched it to DIK or whatever to see the variations in dialogue and stuff. :cautious:
It's possible to have a dik affinity with Jill it's just too much work.

I've got the impression that part of the problem Lana had with her parents was that they thought her friends to be below Royce standards. Jill's friends seem to be within the same wealth class. Also the "being at the back of her mind" would imply that Jill doesn't see them on a regular basis. Bianca, Carla etc probably met Lana at some point, but it seems very unlikely that they were part of that friend group.

I'm actually still not retirement age yet, but had a business that I decided to sell about 6 years ago and retired early. :)

For all those MG paths - I have the main path with the proper affinity, but then I just switch the affinity at the start of the path and play through to see all the different choices and options. Like being able to grab Sarah & Mel's asses on Jill cheat path.

I don't think Bianca and Carla met Lana, Bianca says that she and Jill met as teenagers. Then when Jill brings us into Lana's room, she says that she kept Lana's beanie, which she wore in her "last memory of her"—undoubtedly the Episode 7 intro, and Jill definitely wasn't a teenager then.
