I'm getting this error whenever I try to continue. No way to carry on with the game, clicking just asks if I want to quit. Do I seriously have to start over for this update?

You'll have to rename the persistent.save file to just "persistent" (no file type). I had to add the .save for it to be attached here.

I think they missed "Egging the Preps". I It's the only thing Derek and the MC didn't mention doing near the end. And when they did a close up of the board at the end; it was the only task we as players hadn't seen or heard of being done among the task that were shown in that close up.
