To a certain extent you'd have to since Maya is still important at least for Derek and he is our "brother" so... we can not rid of them especially at the end of season one it is still not sure we got another place to stay...

Sorry for the late response, and yeah it's 4.0 updated with the update file to 4.2 with the badik cheat mod which works with 4.2 so they claim, so idk why this happened.

This is just Season 1 and he was planning to make about 4 Seasons in total or so... So, who knows what will happen in next seasons? I wouldn't be surprised if Maya & Josy don't survive till Season 4 as a couple. Maybe they'll split up and you'll be able to start a monogamous relationship with each of them.
Some people seem to dislike them... I was more disappointed by the MC reaction to be honest, he's been such a CHICK in my opinion, leaving like that, even giving Maya the silent treatment, lol... That's not a massive DIK reaction, I felt something was wrong in my path... Anyways, he seems to be back on track at the end of Season 1. Good.
And I'm sure that if Maya and Josy will let us play a little more with them, people will return to like them...

I highly disagree with that. These are the two main girls of the game.
But in a porn game it really should if I choose to play that way.
After playing AL I can see them staying together until the final episode of the series where we can then be with one and the other just leaves. DPC likes to see the MC suffer. Also they have been together for years and their relationship only really got close to ending after being away from each other but a day later they are stronger than ever. If the biggest problem in their relationship was their parents and they survived that while living with them they will be fine now that they are alone.
Yeah I agree with that. There should have been two reactions depending on if you are a chick/neutral or a dik. No dik would have reacted in that way.
I won't. These girls have been together for years and we have known them for months for me the MC will always just be a third wheel in their relationship. I also don't want to be with Maya I just want her as a best friend.

Yes. I also complained about that when the episode was released. I felt the author took the story out of my hands at the start to separate the protagonist from Maya and Josy. Then it wouldn't look so out of character to some people. At least he (dev) seemed to fix this at the episode's ending.
Maybe in the future the protagonist will have another chance with Maya only but until this happen so far i am enjoying the perks of being single at the end of season 1: FWB with Sage and a affair with Jade.

At first I was turning down every girl I could so that I could just be with Josy but I've been replaying the game and choosing to be with different people this time (I'm enjoying the Sage fuck buddy relationship) and I'm feeling pretty let down. Throughout the first 3 episodes it really felt like everything was building up to a proper Josy relationship and she was going to be the girl of the story but then seeing her back with Maya minutes later felt like the whole Josy storyline didn't really go anywhere.
Last time I mention my problems with the Josy/Maya thing.
I'm wondering if rejecting them will later on allow a relationship with just one of them. These are the main girls and they have a lot of connections to the MC with Derek, Tommy and the HOTs so it would feel weird to just be friends with the main girls and just have a relationship with a side girl. What I'm hoping for now is if we choose the relationship route then we will all continue being together but if we went with the friendship route then there will be problems with Maya's parents causing them to break up and we have to choose which one we want to be with.

I disagree with Maya and Josy being the main girls. There are FIVE main girls, Bella, Jill and Sage are part of it. I think this way is better than AL. In that game, I was forced to have sex with Megan and in this game, you don't have that. You don't need to sleep at Josy's, you don't need to agree to help Maya, hell you don't even need to be Sage's fuck buddy, you can just teach her how to play the guitar and be done with it. Yeah, you got some scripted kisses but that is it. This game gives the player way more freedom to choose.

I can't agree with Sage as she is just a fuck buddy, Bella isn't even that nice to the MC at the moment and things have only just started with Jill. I think of Maya and Josy as like the leads with Bella, Jill and sage as just main characters.
I do agree with this. I didn't really like that I had to date Megan when I just wanted Melissa. It would have also been nice if we could just choose Rena.

You only think that because Maya & Josy have gotten the most screen time of all the girls. The majority of Season 1 revolved around those two due to plot convenience, now that we've been given the option the to either continue being involved with them or just stay friends the focus will shift to the other main girls you the player are pursuing. Being FWB with Sage doesn't deter her status as a main LI in the slightest, it's pretty obvious things will get much more escalated with her in the near future romantically speaking. I'd imagine starting within Season 2 we'll be given the option to actually start a meaningful relationship with one of the girls.

I disagree that season 1 revolved around them because of plot convenience. For me they are the main girls because a big part of season 1 was building a proper relationship with them. The main girl/s of porn games for me are ones that we are building a relationship up with that ends in possible marriage and kids. With Acting Lessons I only consider Megan the main girl if we choose Melissa as a friend but I consider both as the main girls if I am building a relationship with both of them.
If season 2 gives us the choice of building up a proper relationship with Jill, Bella or Sage then I would consider them main girls but at the moment they are a major part of the story but I don't consider them to be part of a main plot.
