1. Sage
2. Jill
3. Bella

Sage is really hot in this episode! Interaction with Bella is really funny, like the pancake session.

How did you get that dialogue?

Josy stepped up for me in this episode, first with that beautiful emotional moment with her dad, HOT AF sex scene right after and also at hangout with Maya when she was suprised with Maya's stupid words that we should still keep things casual and have sex with other people. We can see that Josy doesn't want that, she wants MC and that's it :giggle:

3/ Maya

Is there any chance to make a path where Maya and Jill would fall in love for each other, and let Josy and MC long together ?...

I bet my ass that the MC is related to Rusty means the MC`s mother was a Burgmeister ... in many aspects Rusty and the MC seem to be alike...
I mean personality doesn't mean their related but with that family thread technically he could be related to Jill too.

Not a lot changed for me with any of the girls, I've liked all of them throughout and still do. If anything, I feel a little more for Sage than I did before and feel a little bit better about M&J's feelings for the MC, but not much else is different.

Top 3 is tricky, but if push comes to shove I'd probably go with:
  1. Maya & Josy (they're a package deal for me, can't have one without the other)
  2. Sage
  3. Jill
Sage has probably moved up to my 2nd because of that look during the guitar session (she's totally smitten with the MC now), whereas Jill has gone down because she might have a future with Rusty so she could at least find happiness elsewhere. Bella misses out because things are still very uncertain with, plus I feel like the MC will simply be a means to help her move past whatever's going on with her and there isn't a long-term future for them.

Basically, I'm basing a lot of my choices on who I see has the best chance at a future with the MC.

How did you get that dialogue?
You joke with her after taking Cathy home.

I've the last 300 pages and haven't seen this theory, but what are peoples thought that MC will have to choose between M/J and Sage.
At some point MC will have to choose a single girl, I don't think that even M/J thing will drag through the entire game.
There’s a balancing act for me personally. I don’t like random routes being mutually exclusive and I don’t like WMV style “MC can have 7 dates and ejaculate 6 times in one evening” freedom to date everyone at once.

infact going forward I think the MC being absent when with other girls should be noticed. Maya brings it up on Rooster that Bella’s is “where he keeps disappearing to”. That is realism to me, characters existing and making decisions when not directly in the MC’a vicinity.
Yeah, free roam at the preps party was a total mess. I wish events on it would have been separated somehow.
I'm sure. In that playthrough I missed the event with the HOTs in the bath which requires Massive DIK status. I was there but couldn't join while doing mostly DIK actions the whole game.
So, the systems are interwined after all, most interesting. I don't care enough to find out how exactly is cap work because to me going the opposing directions is not appealing but knowing the fact is pretty cool. Description is still confusing though because penalty doesn't apply right away.
so gentlemen your top 3 please, GO!
1. Camila
2. Lily
3. Riona

Sage top if I have to choose among main girls.

Interesting interpretation, man. Affinity - something that reveals only under pressure, thus shows true nature of the main character. However, if we look at list of major dik choices, I'd say it's not the case:

Roughly only half of the choices are imply pressure and/or a super-tight time frame.

As for status, DPC introduces it like this:

Merely a current mood of MC, which sorta make sense given fast and crazy pacing of our storytelling although polar minor choices within the same playthrough might seem too inconsistent just for one person. Given this and confusing presentation at the end of each episode as you've provided

where status range slapped on top of affinity axis I assumed at first that when we're making a major choice, we're also reducing the maximum possible amount of DIK/CHICK points, which actually is not correct. However, official walkthrough's description confusing about this as well:

Penalty to the status. I wonder if that was original DPC's intention but during the implementation he abandoned the idea or it was the other way around.

eh, pointless response, while i was writing it, others responded and explained to you i see :)

Still completely confused by this scene.

If we assume Melanie means to call Chad, what does she expect to happen? They didn't take a picture, so all she could tell him is that the MC openly kissed Sage. Isn't that what Chad feared was going on back when he first clashed with the MC back in Episode 1? This might be confirmation of his fears, but why does Melanie think this will make Chad less determined to stick with Sage?

Riona thought Chad attacked the MC over Sage, which is a pretty reasonable guess for anyone who doesn't know about the envelopes. Unless Melanie and Sarah do know about the envelopes, then surely they would likewise assume Chad is already willing to fight the MC over Sage. Meaning he would fight to 'defend' the relationship - practically the opposite of breaking up with her. So why do they think hearing she kissed the MC would reverse Chad's response?

Frankly, even if Melanie and Sarah do know about the envelopes I'm not sure how watching the MC kiss Sage would help break up Chad and Sage. Chad's envelope obviously had evidence of some secret Chad wanted to keep hidden; that seems like a much better tool to force a breakup than hearsay about something Chad already suspects.

For the life of me I just cannot see any way to make sense of their actions, unless they really are just crazy chicks who like to stir up shit and feel very slightly guilty about making Sage feel bad.

I just hope that things with all LIs can last as long as possible. I know that there are LIs that can technically be cut off already, but I'd rather get as much content with each of them before having to make any definitive choice. If it comes down to the last couple of episodes to choose, fine, but if this game does indeed go for 16 or 20 episodes and I'm down to just 1 or 2 LIs after ep 8 or 9, then it's not so fun for me anymore.

A choice will come eventually, but I'd like to have as much cake as possible and eat it too before then.

Could be Chad is the same as Sage and both see value in the relationship politically.

If we assume Chad is with Melanie (which I suspect due to her asking if Sarah has her back, why would she need someone in her corner if she wasn’t culpable in this whole thing?) and she wants more than being a side chick telling him about MC could make sense. If Chad is into Melanie but can’t leave Sage because of the political advantages she might try and force it.

If the scenario is Chad and Melanie are “in love”... he’s telling her he wants her but it has to be a secret, he can’t leave Sage but Melanie is his one and only. He’s telling Melanie he isn’t really with Sage, he won’t even kiss her anymore. It’s all a facade.

Melanie is sick and tired of being a side chick. She wants the status of being his girl. Maybe she even likes him legitimately. She needs them to blow up without being to blame for snaking Chad. Enter MC.

Melanie tells Chad Sage is publicly kissing MC. She’s into MC and everyone knows. Suddenly being with Sage isn’t an advantage. It’s painting him publicly as a cuck. Sage being his girlfriend stops being a boon.

So Melanie is gonna out Sage and swoop in on Chad. Only explanation I have for why she wants them broken up.

Affinity - "something that reveals only under pressure"- also not true, it's not only under pressure. this is also just your assumption, and it's wrong.
That was not my statement but short summary of what Darkmetal said.
What all do respect, you can't win this argument against Darkmetal. just let it go. it's okay to be wrong. :)
I get it , you don't like it that your choice has consequences.
Dude, are you on drugs? I guess you haven't seen me arguing, I was just comparing his interpretation with how DPC has introduced those systems. And yes, I wasn't aware that the status cup actually exist as it should be. Also I do like consequences in my games, thank you very much.

Let's drop for a second all that Sage's "fuck buddies" narrative, how M/J are ok with no string attached stuff and even Bella's encouraging MC to continue pursue Jill because "what happened was one-time thing" and turn to meta-side. So far, as you're well aware, two playthroughs are enough to see pretty much all the content (was there any at staying with Derek? not sure about that) and I'm pretty sure that DPC intend to keep it this way as long as possible because it's a decent balance between players who are demanding all at once (there was some ITT even, I remember) and players who are value grounded setting and believable enough approach (I, for one, wish the game has much more branches and restrictions). After reading Q&A from Feb., my guess is that there're will be almost no major restrictions till the end of season 2 at the very least. Hell, even beyond if the pace of storytelling will continue.
