Incorrect. Jade states she doesn't want nor need to know if something happened between those two. The more realistic implication is that Stephen being the horndog that he is was just thinking about Cathy while being going at it with Jade. Cathy doesn't strike me as someone who would bang her close friends husband. Plus I'm pretty sure Stephen isn't her type.

It could make sense that he would be Jill's father. If i'm not wrong, in the photo of Jill and her sister in her bedroom, her sister's hair was red. Don't remember it thought.

Are we sure about that? It's ambiguous about whether or not anything actually happened between them because all we know is that he said Cathy's name once when he was drunk, and even Jade admits she never bothered to find out if they had done anything.
So? People can suspect their husband/wife of cheating but it's not always the case. Yes, Stephen admits to being with 3 students, but I can't see Cathy being with him. She doesn't seem like the type to do that when you consider how she feels about herself and about her Swyper profile.

I think Cathy states she is more interested in younger guys. But no Burke and Cathy haven't happened I don't think she'd want to betray Jade either.

Obviously. Anyone in her position would be afraid of the answer but it still doesn't mean it happened. The only way to know is to find out, but she doesn't out of fear and perhaps if she did ask she'd find out that they didn't do anything, but she'll never know if she doesn't ask.
None of this means that Stephen and Cathy definitely did anything, nor does it mean that Jade knows for sure. She's just choosing not to know either way, which is worse because of how this uncertainty and repression makes her feel.

I hope, well, hope is the wrong word but I'll stick with it, that one of the girls Burke slept with is underage and Jade knows about it. Not seriously underage, like 17 years and 10 months but that's still enough for Jade to hold all the cards, even if Burke finds out she cheated as well.

I will maintain what i said before. It doesn't matter if it happened or not, because in Jade's mind that was the end of her marriage, she couldn't care less about Burke, because after that night she discovered for sure that he was cheating her.
She only denies out of her friendship with Cathy and don't want to risk hating her as much as she hates Stephen. So in her mind, it could've happened yes, but she choose to trust Cathy and doesn't want to ruin their friendship with doubt and accusations.
