Surprised to see DPC seemingly paying attention to some valid constructive criticism as well. Story obviously shouldn't be bent to all the random complaints but when there is some actual valid constructive feedback pointed out by many people good to see it seemingly acknowledged.

With Maya, my feeling is that (as you say) I was filling a void.

I'm not the one she was willing to risk a schism with her family over to the point where joining Quinns restaurant is a solution for her and as mentioned previously we don't have that bond of trust/full understanding with her.

She wants Josy and I'm only a part of that relationship (if I choose that path) as she doesn't want to force an ultimatum with her and therefore defers the decision to others.

I guess a lot of this does come down to personal interpretation based on personal feelings because to me, whilst the MC did certainly fill a void by being someone that Maya needed at that time, I get the feeling that this allowed her feelings to deepen in a very short space of time and that as much she wants Josy, she also wants the MC and that this is true whatever path you take.

The non-M&J path, while it might not be the best explanation/reasoning, says that she does feel something for him but she didn't feel like she could act on it because of Josy and because she's not accustomed to making her own choices but instead goes with what others want, or in this case what she thinks another person wants.

In the M&J path, I'd agree that he's part of that relationship because she doesn't want to force a difficult choice and that she's deferring this decision to the others, specifically the MC, but I don't see it as the only reason and that she's also doing it because she does like the MC and perhaps has this hopeful optimism that they can make a throuple relationship work.

For as much as he allegedly doesn't like this place, this is a very active thread with a very active and passionate fanbase who often do provide constructive critiques and suggestions, possibly moreso than they get elsewhere, so perhaps they aren't avoiding this place as much as we might think.

I've seen other Discords for other games and a lot of what goes on there is just banter and meme-posting, whereas here, not just in this thread, you get better quality discussions, so I don't think it really benefits them to ignore this place.

Big emphasis on the "very short space of time" as we are talking less then 2 weeks (10 days?) in game terms till Josy showed up and all the cards tumbled down.

Maybe if there was some big event during those first few days such as (out of my ass) sticking up for her in front of her dad then I could buy the acceleration but.......she was bribed/blackmailed into letting me stay at her dorm, we watched a movie, she straddled me to allow my abduction..........now she loves me?!?!

I’d imagine he does lurk here. It’s probably the most active community, with the possible exception of his Discord. For me 5 was fine, though I did find it the least replayable of any chapter so far. I Think it easily could have taken place over a few days, with almost the exact same events, but he needed chapter over before Monday due to the Cathy situation. I doubt he changed much he was planning, just making it clear it won’t be a bottle episode.

interesting to see what sex scenes we get. So far my favs have been;

Both of Josy’s. Her BJs with eye contact are the sexiest, plus plus she’s the only one to really be manhandled in a sex scene so far.

Quinn and Riona - good threesome if a little ‘porny’ cum kiss at the end is great.

Quinn - Roof top. Just a great scene with some important character stuff for her.

Isabella in the shower - great erotic scene, awesome build up between the bikini reveal and the sun tan lotion. Sauna wasn’t bad, but it was designed to blue ball the MC (and us).

Honourable mentions -

I'm still so disppointed that we had to choose between Maya and Josy because it feels like such a dick move on both parts (letting Josy lug her cases to the dorm by herself or leaving Maya alone when she's needing comfort), but moreso in the case of Maya. I would expect a potential point to be more than friends with Josy&Maya again, possibly even doing the threesome for scavenger hunt. It might not be, but there are 15 episodes left and they are main love interests so shutting down their path this early wouldn't make sense and also in episode 5 both of them indicated they liked the MC but chose to not include him in the relationship because it was what they thought the other wanted (although I haven't went back over those conversations and know others interpreted what was said differently).
