First of all, I want to say hi, Jill Royce. I'm a huge fan of your work. I'm very happy to see that you've chosen to participate in the Forum. Your work in Being a DIK was awesome. You're my favorite character in the entire game! You are beautiful and talented and I look forward to seeing more of your work in Episode 6 and beyond!!! I also appreciate that you are pretending not to know the answers to all or at least most of the questions and topics. You obviously know most of the script to Episode 6 (I mean...it's YOU Jill)! Anyway...QUESTION:

Do you, or anyone else, know how to get to the phone conversation with the MC after the Tennis Date? I've seen stills of you talking on the phone on the balcony at the A&O frat, dressed in the same outfit you were wearing after your date with the MC. Any idea how to get to that scene? I've tried everything I could think of and can't get it.

Oh...and once again...you were great in Being a DIK, Jill Royce!

I've only played Staying with Derek once. Dude! I'm staying with Bella! She has a sauna and a POOL and will cook for me. OR I'm staying with Sage because I'll be sleeping in the same room with one of the hottest girls in school. Stay with Derek? Naahhhhh.

You have to chose Derek in episode 3

Way to big sacrifices, for a minor little scene if you ask me

Yeah, pretty easily. Pull out the old hard drive, mount it in your new/fixed computer (or wherever you go to recover your data)

Save files are stored here:

C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BeingaDIK-1535311494
(edit: And also your BaDIK/game/saves folder, wherever you installed the game)

Copy everything out of there into the same folder on your new setup and you should be good to go again.

Probably safest to just copy the entire RenPy folder, sometimes things behave oddly when you don't have all of the files matching up.

Yes, just store the entire folder on a flashcard. That's all you need. You can even play from the flashcard. RenPly games are simple programs.

Actually, I accidentally stumbled upon a trick!

One day a few months ago, on a whim, I stuck BIDK folder in my Dropbox (cloud) folder on my PC so that I could access it using my laptop. I didn't notice for a few weeks but eventually I saw that the saves were the same on both PC and laptop since the game files are all on Dropbox.

Most RenPy games are folder only. Installation isn't required, so they are effortless to back up. Before using Dropbox I was playing the game off a flashcard between the PC and the Laptop. Now I just keep all my RenPly games on Dropbox so I can play them anywhere on any device.

That must be it, Chip. I went through my Chick save from Live with Derek at the start of the Episode, through the stripclub, through the date....still didn't get the scene. Do I have to call her from my phone somehow, or does she call me? Immediately after the date, the next slide is the Spin the Dildo game and all hell breaks loose, and I saw no call showing up in my phone to call Jill. When the scene Cathy Naked on Rooster sequence at the DIK Mansion ends, it's the next day...do no joy. Or...no Jill!

The only thing unusual about this save is that I rejected Jade earlier and so this Save doesn't have any scenes with her. Jill is the best, but no way I would give up Sage completely just for the conversation, as you said.

Still, I'm a completionist and that's the only element of the game that I haven't seen so...I'll start a new game with a Pants-Crapping-Insane MC who doesn't like redheads...see if that works.

Yep. I Swiped with Envy and played with her at the Club before the date. No Jill call.

The Jill and MILF route? Not sure what you mean by that.

I do your route every time (you are the bomb, Jill Royce)! By MILF I assume you mean Bella. I usually pursue Bella...but...I know that bothers you, Jill. Don't worry. I'm faithful to you. Bella means nothing to me....

I also assume you mean Jade and Cathy (at least on Swype by this point in the game). All check except in this current Save where I rejected advances by Jade. I'll start fresh with a new game save and try again.

I just want to hear what you have to say about our date! It was fun even though I stomped you in Tennis. I don't think you'd respect me if I had let you win!

Rejecting Jade was difficult for me but had to be done as I don't want to ruin my chances with Bella.

I hope we get a chance to do stuff with Jade at a later point in the game potentially. I also didn't make a move on her as there was just something about that scene that made me nervous (plus considering she's Tybalt's mom, I am concerned that would ruin things with Jill) and felt kinda "off".

There are two ways to "win" that competition. The first you have to brace yourself and suffer through what happens with Quinn, which results in you winning the competition.

The second option is even more rewarding (if you don't like Quinn) as it frazzles her and throws her off, but it's a bit costly because you have to lose the actual competition itself. But if you want to see Quinn lose her cool (and in her mind...lose the encounter), DON'T win the competition. It's pretty awesome to watch at least once in a play through. I found out-playing Quinn to be so rewarding that I kept the Loss in my Main Save.
