OK I finished Episode 1, and I have to say I'm really struggling with this game. It feels like whenever I find things I like about this game, I also find things I don't like. I'm sure it's on purpose by design though. Just not sure if I agree with it.

I cant help myself, but there are a lot of similarities to tv show Blue Mountain State.
Derek is totally like Sammy, his twin sister Maya is similar cutie to Sammy's twin sister Mary Jo. There are more similarities (Chad = Thad Castle, leader of DIK is similar to Alex Moran, etc. etc.)

TBH it was my favorite show, so its nice to see that it inspired @DrPinkCake (if similarity is totally coincidental then my apologies)

Sadly it's coincidental. I did watch BMS and I really liked it, but I just didn't finish watching it for some reason... I should revisit it. Derek is a character loosely based on me and my friends antics when we were young and stupid.

And how the hell did you get this out so fast? And such a HUGE 1.0!

I worked on BADIK simultaneously as I worked on AL. I started working on BADIK after AL Episode 6 when I hit a down period due to personal threats and hate. It was nice writing something fun alongside AL ep7. Other than that, I work constantly on the game. My PCs are rendering 24/7 and I have a good streamlined process for always pushing forward.

@DrPinkCake
- Since only a couple of characters presently hav voice acting (Jill nd Isabella), will u be adding it to other charecters or r u just trying it out for future games??
- Whats ur plan in regards to updates, will there be monthly updates like with AL or is there a change of plans....

I would love to have voice acting for all main girls, the problem is twofold: 1) Money - I can't afford it without more support (yet) 2) I need to find more talented voice actresses. VoiceLikeCandy does a superb job, imo, and I will continue having her act for Jill and Isabella. I know that it might feel weird that only two characters have VA, but that will hopefully change in the future. If anyone knows of a talented VA, please feel free to contact me. It would be a paid job.

Regarding updates, no it will likely never be monthly again. I want to continue to release big updates and I have an aim of 40-50 animations per Episode. This is not possible for me to do monthly all by myself. I will never sit on an update though, when it's ready it gets released immediately.

Sadly, I only accept donations through Patreon at the moment. They do allow tipping though. All you do is pay what you wanted to tip, and then cancel your pledge.

Sorry for the dumb question, but since others indicated using console commands - how do you access the console in the game? I am so used to just utilizing the ~ button for most games but assume there is something different I need to do?

This makes sense as to why the writing felt very dark in the latter episodes of AL. Negativity in your life just worms its way into everything you do, sometimes without you even realizing it. I am glad you seem to be in a far better place

normally these vanilla erotic novels are not my thing, But this game turned my opinion. The story and characters are just really well written, i could believe that they are real people living their own life. Minigames are to hard for me to solve but aswell pretty good done. it feels like the choices i do, matter alot. It doesn't anger me that there are alot of male people, because they dont feel like they are only in the game to steal or rape my girls. instead they got their own personality and history. I could rerun this game pretty often if it was finished. last but not least the renders are of really high quality, they were the reason for me to say "give this game a try". I just wish this would be less vanilla and more things that makes erotic scenes exciting, that's the reason why incest games are pretty populare here. I dont give the advice to add incest to the game. It's just like in reallife, you could fuck with your girlfriend at home OR you both could fuck outside secretly behind a tree. what would be more exciting? i dont know

Coder prabably didn't know that shuffle can't be solved in 50% of cases. I didn't know it too... and tried solve that shiet more than one hour.

This is what we were warned about when they said that the game could offend you?

I actually wrote about this on my review of the game. It needs to be changed as there isn't any fun when the puzzle cannot be solved. For now, start a new game and skip those mini games so you don't miss out on money.

I'm talking about when the MC's dad offers him some money for College. If the MC asks him for more money, maybe his dad won't have enough money to pay for the house, urgent hospitalization or something along those lines.

Dr PinkCake is fast but not that fast.

Good thing is Dr PinkCake follows general versioning rules.
So if you see a version like 0.1.1 then it is a bugfix release with no new content.
If you see a version like this 0.2.0 then you can get exited since this will have new content.
And if you see a version like this 1.0.0 then you should hydrate properly since it's going to be a long night with the final version.
