Good speaking of quality it's on par with the rest of the game, disappointing as the story doesn't advance much and it feels a bit like filler and we have to wait 5 more months to the next one.

So esentially people liked this episode but they feel it's a filler which is a shame for 5 month wait till 7 episode.
I kinda agree, some character had good developement, like Sage or Tommy but with D&G you can't call that episode a filler.

Are there any more specific opinions about this episode?

I got the Nora sex scene in the bathroom, but not the threesome or Nicole scene people are talking about. I'm a DIK and I chose to see Sage over Jill. I thought I swiped up on every possible woman in the Swyper app, but maybe I forgot to swype on Nicole? Not sure what I need to do to get the threesome as well as the Nora scene.

Just have a perfect conversation with her in the chat everytime you are in free roam mode i got the threesome with Nicole and Nora at the bar . I thought that i wasn't going to get the threesome because i didn't went to the strip club the second time but it turns out that didn't mater just have a nice conversation with her when you meet her at the strip club and focus on the chat for perfect score

When I first played ep.6 I just picked a random save game and continued. It was a CHICK game with Jill path and I got maybe 2 of 19 lewd scenes. The whole episode felt like a filler and was disappointing.
Then I tried more of my ep.5 ending save games, saw more of the new content for different paths and different characters, got more scenes for the DnG and it was ok.

If you just play one path it will likely be disappointing. If you play all paths (DIK, NEUTRAL, CHICK) which requires several save games it should be ok. The DnG alone has 10 lewd scenes where most scenes are only available if mc is already on path with the specific character or had sex with them before.

I really like the game. BUT this episode had a lot of things I didn't like.
The first and biggest one - Sage had sex with me loooooot of times and yet she is falling apart, because she thinks Chad is cheating on her??? Just wtf?? Doesn't make any sense at all.. either that or she is the biggest hypocrate I've seen and I'm not sure if I still want her to be my main LI... Like she sucked me off, i fucked her in the ass, titjob, footjob, in pussy and everything one can imagine... Soooo that doesn't make any sense at all...
Second - DnD game was sooooo boring.. Like I dont get why would someone would waste sooo much time making sooo many renders and animations, thus making the episode release much longer for something like that. It's not even fap material, cuz its not real.. At least for me it wasn't... And making freeroam in the fantasy game makes it even worst for replay purposes, since you can't just skip it.. Pleeeasseee don't do that again... It's pointless.. All that effort could've been put into something else at least or skipped for a quicker episode realse..
Third - Is it just me or the scenes in that one weren't that hot.. Like I only liked 3 of them: Threesome and Nora, Quinn and Bella one... I really wish they were like smaller scenes with teasing. For example some footrub when we sit on the table to eat with Sage and Quinn, or some hand action from the girls that sit beside you.. I tought this was a perfect opportunity for it. Of course if the player decides to go on with it.. And was I the only one that tought Sally or some other nerdy girl could be caught in the library doing some webcamming for example and turnes out she is a slut or something like that? Some public scenes would also be hot.. I don't know.. I guess I just wanted some variety of scenes and teases. Not the stupid DnD game I think that affected me the most, cuz it was quite long as well..
4th - not a big one but still would have love some more swyper action and maybe some secrets found on the laptop since we can use it now.. Storywise there was almost no progression..
And lastly: I reaaally like the game. Thats not hate if it sounds like that.. just an opinion ))

Being a DIK compressed version math101 bug-fix

This is a bug-fix patch, which fixes errors with the math101 PNG files in the compressed versions.

There has been a recurring problem with the math_cheat.png and math_choice.png files in the compressed versions, which have been broken in several releases.

This triggers an exception error in the class mini-games, which crashes the game. These math101 PNG files will be mentioned in the error report.

This archive contains copies of these PNG files from the full version of the BeingADIK-0.6.1-pc-lin-patch.

Edit: Updated to include the full path, so works out of the box for Being a DIK v0.7.x compressed versions.

Installation instructions:
Unzip the archive and copy the PNG files to: game/images/classes/math101/ - overwriting any existing files.

Fuck Tybalt. Piece of shit. I'm not into drama so i don't have great knowledge but this as to be one of the worst deusex machina for start a drama ever written.
It's almost clear that Jill doesn't really believe Tybalt nor feel threatened. She studies together, she plays D&G together, she goes into DIK's mansion and also at end of the picnic she seems pretty easily reassured after MC speech.

Still lawsuit could put MC in a pretty bad spot. Even if "arsoning" or whatever doesn't hold up in court there is still trespassing and property damage. Also money/knowledge difference is there. Also he could face punishment form the board like suspension or worse expulsion. To "win" he needs to bring down Tybalt's dad with some hard evidence or somehow level out the status difference, like his mother's family always wanted a part of B&R for reasons but couldn't put is feet in and now they can finally use this nephew for something.

So, there's something to be said about Pinkcake's way of presenting this update, and it's that he's making it very clear that a choice is coming for where our MC stands. Is he going to look for a solid girlfriend(s) or keep his fuckboy status going?

In my mind it only really comes down to two choices that are robust. I wish that some of the side girls were not side girls, because I like them outside of that role (Mona, Camilla, Rhionna, Nicole). But of the Main girls, the way I see things are like this:

Bella: Is a non starter. Yes, she is smoking. But she's damaged. She can't sort past the stuff with her husband (whatever that is, he's probably dead) and it's affected not only her mood but her ability to feel emotions at all. Before she could ever be in a serious relationship again, she'd have to get past all this internal guilt she has. This is a doomed relationship.

Sage: Again, this isn't something with a lasting foundation in my opinion. You're a fuck buddy, at best you're going to end up best friends with benefits. If she tries to start a relationship with you, it's going to end badly because you're the rebound. There's also the issue of College. She's on her way out. She's writing her dissertation. She's on her path to graduation. So you have the year with her, at best. College is pretty much over for her, and you're one good last fling.

Now for the others:
Maya and Josy: If you pick this, it could work. But that's just it. You have to pick the pair. They belong together themselves, whether you belong with them is another matter all together. Now, I can't see them cutting you out of their lives, you've clearly become important to both of them. But you don't get a choice of either Maya or Josy because the relationship just won't work without both of them keeping the group honest. (They've both lied and gotten a lot of second chances on their own, it'd be hard to trust one of them).

Jill: She is, in my mind, the best choice but also the worst choice. Jill is caring, compassionate, kind, loving and sweet. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, so she can't see bad in anyone even if it's right in front of her face. She looks past all of Tybalt's crap just like she looks past all of yours. But Tybalt has made it clear to her that if you keep seeing each other he's going to make your life hell legally speaking. So while Jill herself is a goddess among dirty mortals, the Devil behind her is waiting to catch you together and ruin your life.

It’s difficult to not be subjective, but I’d take my chances with Sage. It seems to be more of a measured risk, relative to potential outcomes with the others, at least.

In most cases, I think that rebounds are poor choices, as they’re chosen for one trait over others (e.g. sexual chemistry or compassion) to compensate or make up for what a previous partner may have lacked. In the MC’s case, it’s different, as it’s not just the sex that gets ticked as a criterion in their current friends-with-benefits agreement. In the MC, she has a guy who potentially ticks most, if not all, of the most important boxes — tension, chemistry, similar interests, similar humour, and even similar personality traits, as both have backbone, speak their mind, and would know where each other stands. But beyond these areas, the most significant one is that her affection for the guy doesn’t come from just sex romps, but the fact that he’s inadvertently made her feel, reflect and empathise. This is a love interest who swears like a pirate and whose parents never expressed feelings in the family household, yet she finds herself drawn to how much the MC loves his parents, and how this extends to how he treats her outside of sex. I do see how they could both graduate and chase other sexual escapades, for instance, but I can also see them ultimately re-connecting in their late 20s or 30s after getting their relationship timing right.

sometimes in my opinion we miss what BADIK wants to be, it's a 100% teen drama, it's not an American pie but an Orange Country, Beverly Hills 90210 ...

if it weren't for the age of the characters it would be a full soap opera as moskyx sometimes claims.

I do not consider it a negative fact, but it positions it as a genre, the motivation of every scene, of every unexpected event is to generate drama

by Murphy's law a toast always falls on the side of the jam, in BADIK it will fall on the head of your ex who will therefore hinder your relationship ...

thenwe must add to the genre the way that DPC has of writing: frustrating, not at all consoling. and even here I don't mean it as an absolute flaw, if everything seems to go well something bad will happen to the MC, and often not due to the player's choices and therefore inevitable. as a player I have to take on feelings of guilt that do not belong to me (the double relationship with Maya and Josy, the assault at the Preps party ..)

I am waiting to complete at least another couple of routes to judge the last chapter, but the situation seems clear to me

I really get what your saying, but in my opinion I think her reaction was more of the fact that Chad ignored her completely, didnt do anything with her even doe Sage wanted it, but hes more than willing to do stuff with another one. Its not so much about the cheating, is more about the fact that she isnt good enough for him and she blames herself for it. Being with the MC and having fun put her mind of the issue because she felt wanted.

The wound in this episode opened up again and he dumps her while not telling the truth, witch means she still didnt get the full closure out of that relationship and still doesnt know what went wrong.

Jill is a Royce and Rusty is a Burgmeister, they will have connections. Jill potentially loves MC and Rusty is a DIK (and Derek's DIK father), so they have motivation to keep them safe. If MC bangs Jade, she might slap sense into Tybalt.

As I see it currently to begin to crack down on Burke we would need to first get a solid lead from the entire HOTs behind the scenes schemes of Quinn and Sarah, Melanie and Heather. As well as help Sage step up her game like Rusty is finally doing this episode. After that I can see working the Jade angle or DrPinkcake pulls a bit of a cliche with MCs mother side family being really powerful/plus help from Rusty and Jill to knock Tybalt down a few notches or straight up make Jill the new president because both Tybalt and Rich are rotten to the core.

But as it stands from the ending of ep6 would be after we have to deal with even more M&J drama...yey..../s

1) Sage started to show the mc attention because she was angry that Chad was cheating on her (and she was using the mc to spy on Chad). Once she had proof (the video) she said something like if he can do it to me, then I can do it to him and the flood gates opened. Eventually the relationship started to develop more (but it was the mc that kept encouraging it). But once Chad actually dumped Sage she was very down, it's typical for anyone to feel a deep hurt when dumped, even from a lousy relationship. Sage was pretty stupid to be with Chad though, even in the flashback at the beginning of Ep5 we see her being totally ignored by Chad. But she's supposed to be a human and they have been known to be stupid when in love.

2) I liked the DnG game, it just needed a payoff at the end (something that furthered the relationship with Jill, Josy or Maya). Also if you don't like it, just keep trying to hit Quinn's character with your guitar, you won't last long.

3) I agree there wasn't much subtle character interaction. Sarah grabbed your crotch when she sat down with you for lunch bit it was one screen and then over. It would have been more characteristic for Mel to notice and something happen from there. And all your other thoughts are good, it's like the finishing touches that made the previous episodes that bit more enjoyable.

4) Definitely felt the same. In the last several episodes, the clucks and the swipes were quite immersive. This time there was like one cluck per roam and it was related to something you were involved in, but there were no others. Having the gang all commenting and fighting over clucks was fun in the earlier episodes. Not much of it this time, and just the one catfishing swyper entry was boring.

All that said I still felt it was still a solid episode worthy of the rest of the seasons.
