That would be a typical Hollywood plot, sinner pays his/her sins by dying or redeem his/her soul to Jezzus' eyes by sacrificing his life to save the good guys. Very US American puritan mentality. I do hope DPC, being from Europe, is not giving us that condescending crap. I want to be surprised and emotionally affected when reading a VN, not just look at sex scenes, otherwise I would just fap to a set of images without wasting time in reading. I expect DPC to set a more complex and intriguing narrative than the average VN.[Quinn] She's just a broken girl pretending to be tough, navigating through the world the only way she knows how. She'll be the first to die...

Yes, and that's when they become "bad people" (I mean, we're talking about killing someone, not stealing an apple).Jill can hire a killer (Bella?) and have Tybalt killed, in life even good people sometimes do very bad gestures
I accept your opinion, about how you personally feel about it. You feel, it is a dik move, its you own personal feelings speaking. . Not agreeing with something because you personally not like it, I accept and agree with. but using this as to try to justify that hey its bad writing, is something that I not agree. Why on earth not? Even if the MC never fooled around with Sage in the slightest, she just turned to him for emotional support after Chad dumped her. It's hardly unreasonable to call her to see how she's doing a few days later. The MC has no reason to think calling Sage would eventually impose on a major milestone with Jill during a future date she hasn't told him about yet.
And that's the big problem. As soon as the player chooses to call her, Sage asks him to come over and take care of her. Now MCs not on Sage's path can always beg off, but at that time they have literally nothing else to do. So the only reason to do beg off is if they were worried about getting sick. If an MC agrees to help, clearly they didn't mind the germs. At that point, as I said before, it feels like an extremely DIK move to cancel on Sage just to fool around with Jill.
It might be different if the MC knew this date was extremely important to Jill, but of course she deliberately hides that from him. As far as the MC knows, Jill called at a bad time and there's no reason she shouldn't be willing to take a rain check. Jill's request - on its face - is just an inherently lower priority than Sage's, regardless of how much the MC likes Jill.
That's what makes the choice so one sided, which is pretty much opposite of what you expect from a good dilemma.
Quinn best girl IMO, and it's not even close for me. I like all the girls in this game, but she ticks all my boxes, pretty much.I definitely hope we get more Quinn in the future, I ended up more interested in her than in Sage this update.
Jill with the backlog she has I think as soon as she unlocks herself , she will put a strain on MC.Yes, and that's when they become "bad people" (I mean, we're talking about killing someone, not stealing an apple).
By the way, I really hope Jill reveals herself as a "bad" and naughty girl, an orgy addicted, that would make many CHICKS cry.
I agree, and I think it's at least possible that DPC might do something like that. Despite what some on here argue, I don't regard the 5 main LIs as set in stone. Quinn already has a more elevated status than the other side girls, she appears as the sixth girl in all the supporting artwork and banners for the VN, her backstory has been fleshed out more than many of the main girls, she's really at the centre of a lot of the main dramatic story threads. The fact she doesn't generate RP at this point is meaningless as far as I'm concerned, partly because RP for those that do generate it seems practically meaningless at this point anyway.Quinn best girl IMO, and it's not even close for me. I wish DPC would bump her up to full love interest status, or at the very least, a "hidden LI" that you can end up with if you follow a very specific path or something.
It'll probably not happen, but a man can dream, I guess.
Cause this is not a porn game . Is a andult novel dude. And it's not the first that you have to be faithful to. In acting lessons for example it was like that.I would like to ask you a question, and I realize that I risk the flame ...
it's about the reasoning made for the crossroads between Sage and Jill, but much more generally.
I have always read that DPC will make us pay for our infidelity, that we must choose etc ..
forget who plays several games at the same time (they converted me too ...) but objectively a player should choose who to bet in the middle of the game based on what?
to me the 5 LIs (or should I say 4?) still seem like puzzles. aesthetically you can have preferences, but what is the aesthetic judgment of girls who do not exist worth? from the point of view of temperament personally I have changed my mind quite drastically already 3-4 times
I just don't see this value of fidelity in a porn game like BADIK.
and if the choices are drastic and arbitrary enough as it seems to be happening, I see even less sense in "behaving well"
ma agree too. And, as an added bonus, more Quinn = more Riona and thats the real god girl. So I pray for more quinn, because its more likely to have more of her than Queen RionaI agree, and I think it's at least possible that DPC might do something like that. In Acting Lessons fidelity only counts from the point you start a serious relationship. Prior events (the HOT's at the bar) are forgiven, and depending on how you choose to live those infidelities (Rena, Anna) cheating doesn't really matter because you end with those girls. At this point of BaDIK, we are not yet there... except in Jill's case. After telling her you love her, it wouldn't be wise to keep fucking aroundCause this is not a porn game . Is a andult novel dude. And it's not the first that you have to be faithful to. In acting lessons for example it was like that.

Don't worry, I think we haven't reached that point yet. Just about Jill and maybe just the side-girls.I don't see a big difference ...
however it is not what I asked: on what basis should I choose the Li to be faithful to? since the 5 LI are still in large part of the mysteries.
the requirement to choose them in the game as in life shouldn't be knowing them?
There's honestly very little distinction between those 2 terms. "Adult visual novel" is just a fancy way of saying "porn game" because, at the end of the day, no matter how good the story of a VN/game is, its sole purpose is to be pornographic and contain copious amounts of gratuitous sexual content. This game has done that in spades and much of the sex is gratuitous in the sense that how it comes about very much exists in the world of fiction.Cause this is not a porn game . Right on, brother! Can't wait for more content with Quinn as well!I definitely hope we get more Quinn in the future, I ended up more interested in her than in Sage this update.
Having experiences is great but losing a girl you are in love with by having a couple of sex is a risk, some take it and others don't. And if you choose Jill, you're choosing that, you choose the girl over the fun. With BaDIK, the setting is entirely different and it's one where fidelity shouldn't be as much of an issue. The college years should be a time for as much sexual experience as you can get with no strings attached. Some people might enter into relationships and they might want that, but if you can get lots of casual sex then you should because one day you won't be having that anymore and you might feel like you missed out on lots of interesting experiences.
Again, this is college. If someone finds someone else that they fall in love with, then good for them, but love and commitment should be concerns for later life, college should be a time for enjoying your youth and freedom, particularly sexual freedom, as much as possible.Having experiences is great but losing a girl you are in love with by having a couple of sex is a risk, some take it and others don't. And if you choose Jill, you're choosing that, you choose the girl over the fun.
It doesn't matter if it's in college, let's take American Pie as an example ... everyone starts out wanting a life of fun and uncontrolled sex, but except for Stifler everyone finds the GIRL, their perfect girl. And that happens, you do not decide who or when you fall in love, that happens and believe me spoiling something beautiful with a girl by sleeping with others can be a decision that spoils their lives for many, since all of us have asked ourselves, damn I was : “You idiot should have been with that girl who was perfect “ but now it's too late and you regret it all your life. I know is too early in the game, or maybe not, who knows xdAgain, this is college. If someone finds someone else that they fall in love with, then good for them, but love and commitment should be concerns for later life, college should be a time for enjoying your youth and freedom, particularly sexual freedom, as much as possible.
Whether it's Jill or any other character, the heavy emphasis on fidelity in this game somewhat stifles that feeling of sexual freedom, moreso when you consider that his options are narrowing when he's just a few weeks into his time at college which will be, at least, 4 years long. He may have done a lot in those few weeks, but it does feel as though it's all happening a bit too soon. The MC doesn't necessarily have to be the typical idiot manwhore who by chance and by charm can get away with being with so many girls, but the MC we have right now is one that is neither this nor one who values and seeks commitment, so it makes the game's insistence on commitment both conflicting and somewhat overbearing.
Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't know about that ending. Will have to try it.No, you'll become Bella's Ice King that way. You won't cure her.
If I remember correctly, to cure Bella, the key is to pay Cathy for the Ice Queen secret instead of a low five, and have a wand at the fight. You'll then remember to cast your spell at the crystal instead of Bella, which cures her.
