I like Jade because she takes what she wants, there's an honesty there that cuts through all of the drama. That's my biggest complaint about Maya and Josy, they don't know what they want. That isn't a deal breaker, lot of people (especially kids) don't know what they want. But the did choose each other over the MC, so that's at least something. But because of that, I don't want my MC getting too entangled with them because they're going to be the source of a lot of drama.it's not strange, in this game the main characters are so caught up in their dramas, sometimes just suspicious or imaginary, that it's really easy to prefer secondary characters
Jade is a bit too caricatured, but on Nichole and Cathy I fully support you.
on LIs, I can't tell you, I have changed my mind in a radical way already a couple of times.
right now the only one I care about is Sage, who in her sentimental drama, even a little too long, has remained consistent, it is also the LI who has shown more aspects of herself, starting as a party girl extreme and adding layers from time to time.
Maya was given a lot of space in the sixth chapter, and I must say that she used it quite well. let's see how he will cope with his personal storm coming
of Jill, without repeating myself too much, I didn't like at all how the blackmail was presented, but it could be an opportunity for her to develop her character too
Josy and Bella for now are really marginal in the story, Josy doesn't have a goal, a motivation to do or not do something .. and Bella is practically from the third chapter repeating the same cycle, she knows MC better, sex, repentance ...
Sage is a good character, but as much as Chad is a dick I didn't want to start fooling around with her while they were still dating. It was made worse that she was motivated by the fact that he was cheating on her. It felt like the best move was to sincerely just be her friend.
I look at Jill and I see a girl who is too young and inexperienced to know when and how to tell Tybalt to go to hell. She clearly doesn't like him, but she's been conditioned to just put up with him. I think she's overreacting to the blackmail, but I do think it will be the thing that breaks her out of her shackles.
I agree that Josy feels like a blank slate. I don't feel like she's added much since coming to the school outside of the big decision in Season 1. She strikes me as the generic love interest that is meant to have wide popular appeal, but looking at how she and Maya do in the DPC's polls, that hasn't worked out.
And, yeah, Bella. Like I said, I just don't get it. Her coming over to the MC's frat house felt way out of character for her.
