Well, the Jill sleep-rubbing thing is on her (unless the MC chooses to take advantage of it), but the MC definitely does a lot of stupid, irresponsible shit through Episode 5 even you you cling to the CHICK side.

As you say, I find the Bella path borderline creepy (especially if you skip staying with her in Episode 4). And while I like the CHICK path overall, it's still more about the MC fooling around than it is about serious romance. I'm hoping that will change someday, but it's sure been resistant to go there.

Even with the effort to repair the mansion in Episode 6, it's clear the DIKs may become more productive and proactive, but they're still a bunch of frat bros. So if someone can't stand frat antics, this is probably not the game for them.

(Personally I dislike such antics, but I find the rest of this game makes them tolerable in comparison.)

It's not just the first season. Maya had the most renders of Ep 6 (444) and she and Josy had the top 2 animation counts of Ep 5 (24 & 26, respectively). Josy also has the 2nd most renders of Ep 5 (310). So they're still getting a chunk of content in season 2 as well.

I can't believe Maya is in this game. Why would DPC force Maya down our throat by putting Maya in this game? Scenes with girls who are not Maya are fine because it is a VN and they are part of the story but Maya has a scene and I can't believe he would shove Maya down our throats by having scenes with Maya. On Jill, the MC does just take his hand away (if that's what you choose). It's an awkward situation, but he doesn't do anything inappropriate without player input.

On Bella, the scene in episode 4 is important because of the way it plays out: the MC will explicitly say he isn't going to force anything, and Bella hugs him then starts something herself.

It's an absolutely vital step in developing their 'relationship,' because it's the only time Bella doesn't react negatively to the MC's advances. The relationship still creepy, but without that scene it's really just the MC stalking Bella and eventually wearing her down.

Unfortunately, the scene is optional.

Look at it this way, a render of Bella hasn't been released yet to save the best for last .
As far as the situation, let's say MC gets invited to Bella's house for a certain reason and things end up in Bella's bed to test the bedframe she has been talking about in the last episode. BOOM amazing script!
But I guess this storyline is a bit too easy and predictable when we talk about DPC.

Agreed. Jill is the type of girl to take things slow so progression with her makes sense, it's one of the most realistic relationships in the game actually. But Bella we could've had sex with in episode 6 since they both admitted to being horny and already had sexual interactions in the past, at end of the day it's a porn game so most main girls progress little by little sexually to keep the anticipation (even if it doesn't make much sense to stop)
