It's not just the first season. Maya had the most renders of Ep 6 (444) and she and Josy had the top 2 animation counts of Ep 5 (24 & 26, respectively). Josy also has the 2nd most renders of Ep 5 (310). So they're still getting a chunk of content in season 2 as well.

On Jill, the MC does just take his hand away (if that's what you choose). It's an awkward situation, but he doesn't do anything inappropriate without player input.
On Bella, the scene in episode 4 is important because of the way it plays out: the MC will explicitly say he isn't going to force anything, and Bella hugs him then starts something herself.
It's an absolutely vital step in developing their 'relationship,' because it's the only time Bella doesn't react negatively to the MC's advances. The relationship still creepy, but without that scene it's really just the MC stalking Bella and eventually wearing her down.
Unfortunately, the scene is optional.

Indeed. I am one of those who hate going little by little in games. In real life you can go from one day just kissing a girl to the next day having sex or oral sex ... etc. You just need the occasion to present itself in a good way. Agreed. Jill is the type of girl to take things slow so progression with her makes sense, it's one of the most realistic relationships in the game actually. But Bella we could've had sex with in episode 6 since they both admitted to being horny and already had sexual interactions in the past, at end of the day it's a porn game so most main girls progress little by little sexually to keep the anticipation (even if it doesn't make much sense to stop)
