This might just be me, but I feel like calling that lazy is a tad unfair. Fuck, even at work, where I like to think I do earn my pay, I certainly don't go 100% from 8:00 to 16:00, that's just madness. I mean, it's a closet. Do you really expect him to whip up a new model, find textures, realize the default coat hangers don't have the kind of clothing he wants for Maya, create new models for each of those, choose the right textures for each, tack them onto the closet model, shove the whole thing into the scene and then render?
Come on, that's crazy, it's a closet. Unless you're using it to foreshadow or something where details matter as much, just use the default model for a closet.
